Colette was trailing behind her, still muttering questions she didn't have the patience to answer.
"What the fuck was that thing? You saw it, right? That wasn't just me?" she called out, keeping pace despite the uneven ground.
"I saw it," Gwen snapped without turning. "Hard not to notice an eight-foot freak smashing through walls."
"That wasn't normal," Colette said. "Not even for us."
