Kim stares at the man in front of him. He was busy waiting for the soup in the earthy pot to boil so he could put the next ingredient. A corner of his lips crooked up as he enjoys staring at the not-so-innocent face.
"Is it done?" Kim purposely asks Han with his strict voice. The junior gives him a sweet look, making him immediately melt down on his chair.
"Just a minute. Why, are you hungry?" asks Han softly.
"Of course I am! We might done eating if we choose Apela!"
Han chuckles when Kim mentioned Apela. The fast food restaurant is always a go-to for the senior, but lately, he slowly changes his diet. But still, the smell of that Double Cheese Burger; fill with two lamb patties, fresh lettuce, tomato slices, two types of cheese and fresh bake garlic bread, is a sinful temptation for Kim to refuse.
"You need to eat healthy, so you can recover quick. And, the doctor asked you to put down some weight. You're getting fat already..."
"You're body shaming me now, junior?!"
Han chuckles. Kim's angry face makes him look even cuter; with that two cheeks that hanging like two apples, thin brows that stitch together and eyes slide up like an angry cat.
Hangry cat. Hunger + angry.
"I am not, Senior Kim. But, you do realize that you are not young anymore. If you gain unnecessary weight, you might risk yourself with a lot of health issues; heart attack, diabetes, kidney failure–"
"I don't think I'm at risk. I exercise regularly. I sleep early–"
"Only when I switch off your Wifi..."
Kim rolls his eyes up. Apparently, he kinda appreciates the side note made by Han.
"Fine. But still, you need to praise me for my effort, at least..."
"I did. I treat you mookata today," says Han, giving away his sweet smile that makes Kim chokes his own words.
"Think this is enough?"
Han puts down the ladle on the small plate next to the boiling mookata clay pot. He leans so close to Kim, that his nose almost touches the senior's cheek. Kim can feel the heat sip into his skin and he immediately gets goosebump by Han's sudden advance.
"I can serve you more... If you know what I mean..."
"Pervert! Get away from me!" Kim playfully pushes Han away, leaving the junior sneers and chuckles a bit.
Kim tries to ease his thumping heart, being around Han makes him hard to put his poker face. He will eventually, unconsciously smiles. Sometimes without even he knows about it. Had Seth never points it out all the time, he won't realizes it at all.
And today, it's not an exception as well.
"When I said you need to eat healthy, I do really meant it, Senior Kim..." Han suddenly talks. "The fact that both of us love drinking, that arise a concern in me," he continues as she politely hands Kim a bowl of soup.
"What concern?" asks Kim.
Han takes a glance at him. He pours some soup in his own bowl, put it on the table and let out a huge sigh.
"I want you to have a healthy lifestyle. Eat well, sleep well, less playing..." Han softly grabs Kim's hand. "You need to stay healthy and fit, so you can be by my side for a long time," he bits his lower lips a bit, before letting out a smile.
Kim stutters. He stares at Han, eyes waver a bit. His genuine concerns about Kim's wellbeing is something new to the senior. He had been in a lot of relationship before, but to be honest, this bond that he has with Han is out of the world. He can't even compared it with those shitty people that used to claim that they love him, but in reality, they just don't even care at all.
All they care about is his money.
"I never say I want you!" Kim pushes Han's hand away, pretend to reject his advance. "You never ask me to be your boyfriend, tsk!"
Han laughs a bit. He continues serving food to Kim while keeps his smile planting on his face. Kim glances at him, eyes slated straight, annoys by Han's silence when he mentioned the word boyfriend.
"Ha'ah... Fine. I'll be careful next time. I need to take care of my body, so I will look young all the time," says Kim. "Who knows maybe I'll attract the crowd–"
"Are you gonna rip your body for someone else, senior?" Han's growl makes Kim smirks. He knew he manages to push the correct button in him.
"Well... Come to think of it, why keep it under the shirt when I can always showing up to others..." Kim pretends to lift up his shirt when Han quickly grabs his hand hastily and halts Kim.
"Don't ever think about that. I warn you..." Han tilts his head and pokes his inner cheek. Kim smirks as he feels the victory on his side. Han's possessive mode is a good game to play. He enjoys messing up with the boy.
"If you keep us stuck in the same place, I think this shirt will get lifted anytime soon..." Kim continues being a brat to Han.
The junior slowly let his hand go. He stares at Kim, perhaps being calculative about something.
"If I wanna propose you, I won't doing it at a mookata place. That's tasteless," his reply makes Kim chuckles.
"I don't mind."
"Senior, your value deserves more than just a mookata place..."
"If you earnestly love me, I don't care if it's on the side of the road."
Han shuts. He keeps his sight at Kim. The senior keeps pricking him with his mocking smile. He had enough of that, so he takes out his phone from his bag.
"Who are you callin–"
"Khun Mae... Swaadeekap... This is Han..."
Kim's eyes grow larger as he realizes the man is calling his mother. He tries to grab the phone from Han but the junior manages to tackle him. He shushes Kim as he glares at the senior.
"How's Khun Por doing? Is he still playing golf? Oh, that's nice!" Han's chimes annoys Kim. He chews the boy with his side eyes as he can't do anything to stop him from talking to his mother.
"Khun Mae, I was thinking maybe I should join Khun Por for a game. I have something to discuss with him about me and..." Han glares at Kim when the senior shakes his head in horror. "...Phi Kim..."
Han keeps talking and casually laughs in the call. Meanwhile, Kim is already shrinks on his chair.
"Yes. Yes Khun Mae. I hope you don't mind it. Yes? Oh... Five hundred thousand Baht?! I think it will do. But, I have three more years to graduate–"
"Ai shia Han!"
Han giggles as he avoids Kim's sudden advance at breeze.
"Ah, I understand. Fine... I'll let Phi Kim know. And I'll join Khun Por's for golfing soon. We can discuss about it more. Thank you, Khun Mae..." Han smirks as he ends the call, leaving Kim with his face as white as a paper.
"What are you doing?!" the senior almost strangles Han. He just laughs it off while grabbing both of those milky white hands.
"Khun Mae said, she will give me five hundred thousand for the dowry. And, the wedding will take place a year after I graduate. She asked me to let you know so you can start working immediately and save up for that," says Han.
Kim's jaw drops.
"Ai shia Han! What are you talking about, huh?!"
Han softly caresses Kim's hand, looking at his eyes as he slowly smiles at him.
"Asking you for a date.... It's just a waste of time. Why don't we just... Get marry?"
The air suddenly goes silence. Kim blinks his eyes in disbelief. He can hear his heartbeat is thumping so loud from his rib cage. Han on the other hand, keeps his calm composure while watching a shocking face of Kim while he drops the news.
"But, we can't... I mean... You're still a freshman..."
"Yeah, I didn't say that it should be done right now.."
"We need to date first, then!"
Han sighs as he pulls Kim's head closer to him and plants a kiss on his forehead, making the senior jumpy a bit.
"After everything that we've done, are you still assume that we're not lovers yet?" asks Han.
That's when Kim slowly grasps the reality, letting out a small chuckle as Han sneers while looking at the senior. He slowly let Kim go and continues serving food for him. Kim takes the food, still with blushing cheeks and a shy smile on his face.
Han is truly something!
