**Chapter 271: Never Give Up**

**Chapter 271: Never Give Up**

By evening, Zhao Ling saw Xiao Wu, A Rou, A Yin, Liu Erlong, and Tang Yuehua return home, all looking utterly exhausted.

Zhao Ling immediately ordered his servants to serve the delicious meal he had prepared earlier to reward his five beauties.

"My dear wives, thank you for your hard work. If I'd known how tiring this would be for you, I wouldn't have started Lanba Academy," Zhao Ling said, pulling Xiao Wu, who was eating with gusto, into his arms.

Xiao Wu gave him a tired, exasperated look. "Don't even start with that. I'm exhausted. No matter what, you're not allowed to 'bully' me tonight."

A Yin, A Rou, and Liu Erlong nodded in agreement.

"We feel the same way. Husband, let Wutong and Qiuer take care of you tonight," they chimed in.

Tang Wutong and Wang Qiuer protested immediately.

"What? We were the ones being bullied two days ago! Why should we be the ones again? Husband, you should 'bully' Hong'er, Xuan'er, or Nannan today instead!"

Jiang Nannan quickly shook her head, her expression alarmed.

"No way! We've already been tormented enough these past few days. It should be Yin'er, Rou'er, or Aunt Yuehua's turn."

Meng Hongchen and Zhang Lexuan nodded enthusiastically in agreement. While they enjoyed affection from their husband, they became timid when it came to his "enthusiasm."

A Yin spoke up confidently. "Nonsense. Sisters Rou'er and Long'er are pregnant. It wouldn't be appropriate for us to do anything with our husband. Surely, you all know whose turn it is?"

The girls unanimously agreed with her logic, redirecting their attention to Xiao Wu and Tang Yuehua.

Realizing they had become the focus of attention, both women became nervous. Exhausted from the day's work, they knew they couldn't withstand their husband's boundless energy.

However, Zhao Ling wasn't in the mood for compromises. He was frustrated. The growing number of wives in his household meant he was constantly being passed around like a football. Were they forgetting he was their husband?

Determined to assert himself, Zhao Ling decided to spend the night with Xiao Wu and Tang Yuehua.

But when he arrived at Xiao Wu's room, he found her holding onto Tang Wutong, who in turn had dragged Wang Qiuer along. Amused, Zhao Ling wasted no time isolating the room with his domain before transforming into a hungry wolf.

Meanwhile, in the Douluo God Realm during the timeline of the Peerless Tang Sect, Tang San, the God of the Sea and the God of Shura, sat alone, drinking heavily.

His closest friends—Dai Mubai, Ma Hongjun, Oscar, and others—watched him with concern.

For more than ten days, Xiao Wu and their daughter, Xiao Qi, had been missing. Despite searching every possible location repeatedly, their whereabouts remained unknown.

Tang San, normally diligent in his duties as a law enforcer of the divine world, had abandoned his responsibilities. He spent his days drinking to numb his pain, much like his father had during his darkest days.

For Tang San, the disappearance of both his wife and daughter was unbearable. Any suggestion that he focus on his duties instead of drowning in sorrow felt cruel and heartless.

"Xiao San, you need to pull yourself together. If Xiao Wu and Xiao Qi knew, they wouldn't want to see you like this..."

"Yes, Third Brother, you have to stay strong. They're not in danger—we're sure of it."

"Exactly. You can't keep letting yourself fall apart like this."

Dai Mubai, Oscar, Ma Hongjun, and others tried to encourage him, but Tang San was in no mood to listen.

"I'm fine!" he snapped. "I just drank a little too much. How is that being depraved? You should all go back. I'm tired..."

Staggering to his feet, Tang San opened the door and motioned for them to leave.

With no choice, his friends reluctantly departed. Left alone, Tang San resumed drinking, his sorrow deepening with each sip.

Just as he was slipping into a drunken haze, a mysterious voice whispered in his ear.

"Do you want to know where your wife and daughter are? I can tell you."

Tang San, instantly alert, sat upright, his drunkenness fading.

"Who are you? How do you know where they are? Tell me!"

The voice replied, calm and enigmatic.

"It doesn't matter who I am. What matters is whether you want to find them. Do you want to know where they are and how to reunite with them?"

Desperate, Tang San nodded fervently. "Yes! Tell me now—where are they?"

The voice continued, "They are in the Douluo Continent, more than 10,000 years in the past. A turbulence in time and space swept them back to that era. If you want to see them, you'll need to travel back in time.

However, I must warn you: an unusual and powerful presence exists in that timeline. Returning there could be dangerous. I suggest you give up."

"Give up?" Tang San echoed incredulously.

As the Sea God, the Shura God, and a law enforcer of the God Realm, Tang San could not fathom a being more powerful than himself.

"That's absurd. I refuse to give up. I will find my wife and daughter no matter what!" he declared resolutely.

To Tang San, even if the timeline contained the Shura God from 10,000 years ago, he would not falter. No mortal or divine being could stand in his way.

The voice responded, "Very well. I will help you return to the past."

A swirling black vortex appeared before Tang San. Peering into it, he couldn't discern what lay beyond. Though uncertain, his resolve was unwavering.

Steeling himself, he stepped into the vortex.

"No matter what it takes, I will bring my wife and daughter back. And if any being dares to stand in my way, I will destroy them—god or mortal."

Tang San's determination burned brighter than ever as he disappeared into the vortex, ready to face whatever lay ahead.
