Chapter 350: Female Agent: "Your Pick-Up Method Is Too Old-Fashioned"

In the bustling harbor, where Marine officers diligently guarded Wano's precious resources, a peculiar tension lingered in the air. This key location was under the command of Darius, Cook, and Dev, all trusted officers of Vice Admiral Luffy.

As reports of an incoming government delegation reached Darius, he gathered his fellow officers. "The Vice Admiral ordered us to escort the government representatives to the Flower Capital. I'll lead them personally. Cook and Dove, stay here and maintain security. The factory's safety is our top priority."

Cook and Dove nodded in understanding. They were well aware of the stakes. The seastone processing facility, a relic of Kaido's reign, had been recently repaired and was operational again. Its strategic importance meant it required constant vigilance.

Soon enough, a group of sharply dressed individuals arrived at the harbor. Their identical black suits and sunglasses gave them an air of uniform professionalism, but to the Marines, they looked more like overconfident gangsters. The CP agents walked with precision, their polished shoes clicking against the harbor's cobblestones.

Darius stepped forward to greet them, his face stern. The CP agents, with their typical air of superiority, parted to reveal their leader. Cook's eyes widened momentarily as the figure stepped forward.

The woman exuded confidence, with long golden waves cascading down her shoulders, accentuating her striking almond-shaped eyes behind rimless glasses. Her figure-hugging blouse and short skirt were paired with bold black-and-white striped stockings that highlighted her long legs. Completing the ensemble were sky-high stiletto heels, each step resonating with authority.

Cook raised a hand in hesitant recognition. "You… you look familiar."

The woman tilted her head slightly, pushing her glasses up with an air of disdain. "Oh, please. I know I'm stunning, but starting with a line like that? Your pick-up method is too old-fashioned."

Cook's jaw dropped, his initial confusion morphing into indignation. "What? No! You're not even my type. I spoke up because you seemed familiar."

She sneered dismissively, brushing off his explanation. "Men are all the same. Stubborn to admit the obvious."

Before Cook could retort, she turned her attention to Darius, her gaze critical. "Where is Vice Admiral Luffy? Why hasn't he come to greet me himself? Or is this how little the Marines respect the World Government?"

Darius's face remained impassive as he replied, his voice sharp. "You're not important enough for the Vice Admiral to meet personally. If you want to see him, follow me. I'll take you to the Flower Capital."

Without waiting for her response, Darius turned on his heel and began walking away. The woman's face twisted in fury, and the veins on her temple pulsed visibly. She glared at his retreating figure, muttering under her breath, "Arrogant Marine…"

As she barked orders to her subordinates, instructing them to inspect the harbor and factory for any Marine negligence, Cook and Dove exchanged a knowing glance. The CP agents dispersed wordlessly, their dark silhouettes fanning out across the facility.

Cook followed them closely, ensuring they didn't overstep boundaries. Meanwhile, the woman stomped off in pursuit of Darius, her heels clicking furiously against the pavement.

Her frustration reached a boiling point when she saw the "mount" the Marines had prepared for her: a towering black rooster with a fiery comb that seemed to glow in the sunlight.

Her expression twisted in outrage. "What is this?! Where's the carriage? The sedan chair? Do you think I don't know the princes of this country ride in luxury?"

Darius, visibly losing patience, fixed her with a steely glare. "You're not in charge here, CP. This is Wano Country, and you'll abide by Marine orders. Either get on the rooster or walk."

The woman sneered, refusing to back down. "Hmph. Who do you think you are to order me around? Only the World Government can dictate what I do."

Her words were laced with defiance, a clear challenge to Darius's authority.
