Zs'Skayr

"Gwen, I want you to open page five-eight-nine, subsection two of the Blue Grimoire. Cast that spell!" Fred shouted as he took off, flying toward Ben. The circus freaks were already beaten down, barely conscious, and scattered across the library floor.

"Zs'Skayr! Man, that's hard to say," Fred muttered, drawing Ghostfreak's attention. The Ectoneurite's singular eye swiveled unnaturally to his back, locking onto Fred. Without hesitation, Fred blasted him with an ecto-energy beam, sending Ghostfreak crashing through the library wall and into the main hall. Dust and debris filled the air as Ghostfreak groaned, slowly rising to his feet while clutching his head.

"That power... Soon, I'll make it mine," Ghostfreak muttered, his voice dripping with malice. But before he could act, the Omnitrix began flashing red. Ghostfreak screamed, his form flickering as he fought against the device's recall mechanism.

"Nooo! I'm not going back!" he cried, his voice echoing with desperation. But the Omnitrix won the battle, and Ben reverted back to his human form, collapsing to the ground.

"Aw man! That was freakier than usual," Ben groaned, rubbing his head.

"Now, now, Ben. It's rude to talk bad about others in their presence," a chilling voice echoed. Ben froze, his eyes widening in disbelief as he turned to see Ghostfreak floating before him, fully separated from the Omnitrix.

"Ghostfreak!" Ben exclaimed, his voice trembling.

"Not quite," Fred said, stepping between Ben and Zs'Skayr, his stance protective yet calm.

"Fred! Just what is going on?" Ben demanded, his confusion evident.

Fred gestured toward the spectral figure. "I'll leave that to our friend here to explain."

"Who are you, and what do you want?" Fred asked, his tone sharp and commanding.

Ghostfreak chuckled darkly. "Ha-hahaha! It seems I'm not very welcomed here."

"More like you don't belong here—or there... Ugh! What I mean is, you're supposed to be just a transformation. So why are you outside the Omnitrix?" Fred pressed.

"I was never a mere transformation!" Ghostfreak snarled. "I am an Ectoneurite. Our consciousness exists even in a few strands of DNA. I was simply trapped in that damned device when a sample of my DNA was taken. But no more. Now I'm free! And I can reveal my true self."

As he spoke, Ghostfreak's form began to shift. His body elongated grotesquely, his claws sharpened, his face turned upside down, and writhing tentacles emerged from his chest. The transformation was horrifying, yet Fred remained unfazed.

"Now that's just... wow," Fred remarked, his voice tinged with sarcasm. "And judging by what you said, you probably died to end up trapped in the Omnitrix. So you should be thankful for receiving an opportunity to come back through Ben's form of you."

Fred's tone turned smug as he added, "And most importantly, monsters with tentacles belong in Hentai comics!"

With that, Fred charged at Zs'Skayr, his ecto-energy flaring brightly. Zs'Skayr roared, meeting Fred's attack head-on. The two ghosts clashed in a flurry, their movements a blur as they phased through walls and furniture.

Zs'Skayr lashed out with his tentacles, their sharp tips slicing through the air. Fred dodged effortlessly, his half-ghost form allowing him to phase through the attacks. He retaliated with a barrage of ecto-blasts, each one lighting up the dim library like a strobe.

"You won't take over Ben's body!" Fred shouted, his voice resolute.

Zs'Skayr sneered, his tentacles retracting as he floated higher. "I don't want Ben's body—not anymore. I want yours!" he declared, his eye gleaming with sinister intent.

Fred's expression hardened. "Yeah, that's not happening."

Zs'Skayr telepathic illusions while grabbing Fred's hand, the room glew colder as shadows twisted unnaturally. Fred staggered for a moment, his vision blurring as the fear tried to take hold. But he shook it off, his determination burning brighter.

"Nice try, but I've seen scarier things in my nightmares," Fred quipped, firing a concentrated ecto-blast that struck Zs'Skayr square in the chest. The Ectoneurite howled in pain, his form flickering.

Meanwhile, Gwen had been working diligently, flipping through the Blue Grimoire and chanting the spell Fred had instructed her to cast. A glowing magic circle began to form on the floor, its intricate runes pulsating with power. The circle expanded, its light growing brighter as it prepared to seal Zs'Skayr.

Fred noticed the circle and smirked. "Perfect timing, Gwen!" he called out, dodging another of Zs'Skayr's attacks. He lured the Ectoneurite toward the glowing trap, taunting him with every step.

"What's the matter, Zs'Skayr? Afraid of a little magic?" Fred teased, phasing through a bookshelf as Zs'Skayr lunged at him.

"You insolent whelp!" Zs'Skayr roared, his tentacles thrashing wildly. But his rage blinded him, and he failed to notice the glowing circle beneath him until it was too late.

"Now, Gwen!" Fred shouted.

Gwen completed the spell, and the magic circle flared to life. Chains of light erupted from the runes, wrapping around Zs'Skayr and pulling him toward the center of the circle. He screamed and thrashed, but the magic was too strong.

"No! You can't do this to me!" Zs'Skayr bellowed as his form was compressed into a small, glowing orb. Gwen quickly grabbed a container—a lunchbox—and sealed the orb inside.

Fred floated down, reverting to his human form as he landed beside Gwen. "A lunchbox? Really?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

Gwen shrugged. "It was the only thing I had on hand."

Fred chuckled. "Well, it works. Nice job, Lucky Girl."
