The Talk Of The Masses

Musa was extremely disorientated at the party. It was not the loud noises, the constant chattering, or any mundane reason. It was because he was right next to multiple beings who all controlled the various laws of nature around them, coupled with the Lesser Aetree, which acted as a massive beacon that was horrifically blinding to someone who relied on following the laws of nature like him to see.

He floundered around for a bit until he finally noticed David and Myrym, who were away from the party for some odd reason, looking at other people and staring at them as if they were overseers rather than guests.

"So that's where the two of you were. I've been going around; none of them really seem to be worried about what just happened in Babyl."

Myrym shrugged. "Of course, they're not. They saw David hold off Bathin before he was finished off by Pahaliah. Someone who is right here alongside his siblings, the Queen, the Aetree Speakers, and the Promised Prince."
