The Name of God

"Because I want to ask them a question of course. Or at least, try to."

Elyia was confused. While she had heard of gods, goddesses, great and grand spirits and the like, and even Elohim simply meant a divine entity, but a god was just a being of great power from what she would know, someone with immense capabilities, such as the Aetree Speakers.

"If you wanted to meet a god, then why don't you go and try to seek an audience with Verichiel?"

Nahas tried not to laugh, snorting as she bit her lip. "Hah? What? Why her- oh, you think… oh okay, let me explain."

She slithered up to a blackboard as Jophiel narrowed her eyebrows. It sounded like Nahas wasn't respecting her mother at all, this did not go unnoticed, especially by Aliyah who flew to her ear.

"It's not what you think; the snake just doesn't see Verichiel like a goddess, but she still respects her."
