Backtracking

The remaining Dahg dragged the corpse of its fallen sibling back to the depths of the ocean floor to bury and honor their wishes while Phanuel began to round up the surviving members and ships, docking on a nearby island to see how many remained of their numbers.

"A dozen and more dead… and we lost two ships. That's certainly a way to start this mission. We're going to need to rest up and recover as much as possible if we want to continue."

She looked around the fleet, finding that at least the main group was still alive and by the Penance. Phanuel then took control of the ship and steered it towards a nearby deserted island before returning to each ship and doing the same, anchoring each of them down.

Phanuel looked down, sighing for a bit. If only she could have known that they would betray them like them. She would hope that the one's travelling to Galfania would have an easier time than she was currently and that they weren't attacked like they were.
