Upon These Blessed Landscapes

David knew that convincing Veresha would be hard. She was a great and prideful goddess-like woman, and even more so, she was a fae.

They were powerful tricksters and extremely flighty. But that's what she was. As Veresha currently stood, she was basically just a low-level Elohim.

She was powerful yes, but never more powerful than he could handle. However; what he needed from her was the fame and status that she held.

It would be key in controlling the people here, so it was best to showcase that they were both her superiors and someone she would ally with.

All of this was all a show, and with Veresha as the unwitting actor in the middle. Now all David had to do was make her act.

He led her towards the upper docks where many soldiers and guards made way for the both of them under the orders of their Prince.
