Chapter 79 - Madara Uchiha

Inside a certain cave, a man with glasses used the forbidden jutsu Edo Tensei to revive a certain legend of the shinobi world history.

"Finally, it seems you have managed to groom that brat, Nagato," A man with long hair who was wearing samurai armor said as he opened his eyes and walked out of a coffin.

"Who are you? This is not the art of Rinne Rebirth?" Madara Uchiha said as he looked at Kabuto and realized that he wasn't revived using Rinne Rebirth because the individual in front of him didn't have a Rinnegan, and there were other people like him standing beside him.

"My name is Kabuto, Orochimaru's Kabuto. I revived you through Edo Tensei," Kabuto said as he adjusted his glasses.

"What? Edo Tensei?" Madara said as he wondered where the hell was the brat that he trained. At that point, he had no idea that his stupid disciple was already dead.

"Yes, I revived you so you could kill my enemy," Kabuto said as he stated his purpose for reviving him, which was very vague.

The truth was that he revived Madara and other ninjas to conquer this world so he could learn every secret about the world but that wasn't the only thing he wanted.

Some time ago, Kabuto captured a Konoha ninja who had a wanted poster of him, which confused him, so he restrained him and forced him to tell him everything through his devious means.

At that point, Kabuto learned that Sasuke returned to the Hidden Leaf Village and was actively looking for him. He even told the ninjas not to engage him and to report it back to him once they had found Kabuto, which infuriated him. He didn't know what crime he committed for Sasuke to hunt him like a madman, but after that day, he decided to eliminate Sasuke to protect his future.

"I Refuse!" Madara said as he made some hand seals and got rid of Kabuto's control over him instantly.

"What?" Kabuto was shocked after sensing his connection with Madara disappear.

"From now on, you are under my control," Madara said as he used his E.M.S and put him under his control.

"Are you Madara Uchiha?" A guy with long white hair asked as he, alongside the other Edo Ninjas looked at the drama in front of them.

"Uchiha Madara? That legend?"

"It's an honor to see him with my eyes"

"That powerful guy from the warring states period who was Hashirama Senju's Rival?"

"So noisy. Tell these people to follow me from now on" Madara said as he ignored the Edo ninjas and told Kabuto to hand over the control of Edo ninjas to him.

"Show yourself already," Madara said as he looked at the wall beside him.

"I'm sorry for not showing up earlier," Zetsu said as he popped out of the wall and stood beside Madara.

"What happened to that idiot?" Madara asked Zetsu about Obito's whereabouts.

"He got killed by the last remaining Uchiha, who also happened to be the strongest ninja currently alive," Zetsu said as he reported about Obito's death.

"Last Uchiha? Strongest ninja alive? What happened when I was gone? Tell me everything" Madara said as Zetsu explained 'everything' to him.

"That's how he died. I was too afraid to stay there, so I took The Rinnegan and escaped," Black Zetsu said as he revealed a Rinnegan and gave the eye back to its original owner.

After learning about Sasuke, Madara was excited to fight him, but from deep down, he still missed his rival Hashirama. He was the only one who could give him the thrill he wanted in his life.

"He doesn't sound as strong as Hashirama," Madara said as he decided to play a little with Sasuke in the future and take away his Rinnegan from him to complete his eye of the moon plan.

"Either way, so only The 9-Tails fox is left? Things should go quite easy from here" Madara said as Zetsu interrupted him.

"It might not be that easy. The allied shinobi forces are near our base and might attack us tomorrow. We need to be ready soon. Thankfully, our army is fully prepared to enter the battlefield" Black Zetsu said.

"You come here," Madara said as he called Kabuto and put a chakra rod in his body, which he got from Black Zetsu. For some reason, Black Zetsu conveniently had everything Madara wanted for 'his plans' but he never doubted him since he still believed that Zetsu was a part of him.

"You don't need a chakra rod. I can take control of him now" Black Zetsu said as he attached himself to Kabuto's body.

After that, Madara gauged out Kabuto's eye and implanted his Rinnegan inside his eye. This whole process went smoothly since Zetsu was controlling Kabuto's body.

After the Rinnegan was successfully implanted, Kabuto, or Zetsu in this case, used the art of Rinne-Rebirth and revived Madara from the dead.

Soon, Madara's body started to emit smoke, and his eyes started to crumble. It was clear that his revival was successful.

Madara immediately bit his hand and tasted his blood to check if he was actually revived or not.

"That's the taste of my blood. I have been revived," Madara said in excitement as he pulled out The Rinnegan from Kabuto's eye and put it in his left eye.

"Unfortunately, it's not my right eye, so I can't use Limbo, but it won't be needed," Madara said as he summoned the Gedo Statue.

*Boom*

The Gedo Statue landed on the ground, so Madara went towards it and nodded slightly after realizing that all Tailed Beasts except Kurama were inside.

"Find out everything about Edo Tensei," Madara ordered Zetsu to find everything about Kabuto and his Edo Tensei since he knew that Black Zetsu could copy the memories of anyone he attached himself to.

After that, Black Zetsu told Madara everything about The Edo Tensei who seemed to want some Jinchurukis under him.

"So only a sample of DNA and a living sacrifice is needed to revive someone. I see, go and revive Hashirama. I want to fight him," Madara said, to which Zetsu shook his head.

"Due to Orochimaru's incompetence, he can't be revived since his soul isn't in the afterlife" Zetsu lied. He obviously knew about the Shinigami Mask and Uzumaki shrine, but he didn't want to go near that place since that place is dangerously close to Sasuke's home.

Madara was nothing but a useful idiot for Black Zetsu. He just wanted Madara to do as he had planned so his mother could be revived. Why should he risk his life to get Hashirama and risk failure?

Black Zetsu was sure that if he helped Madara revive Hashirama, he might lose interest in Infinite Tsukuyomi and start an eternal fight with Hashirama, which would last forever since neither of them could die.

Thankfully, he didn't know that Minato had the second half of Kurama; otherwise, he would have gaslighted Madara into going there, which was easier.

'Good, everything is going as I planned. Now I just need to tell him about my backup plan through Kabuto, and everything is done,' Black Zetsu thought.

"There might be a way for us to revive Ten-Tails early, but it might not work," Zetsu said, which attracted Madara's attention.

After that, Zetsu told Madara about Kinkaku and Ginkaku and them having residual 9-Tails Chakra. He told him that Kabuto already had their DNA but didn't have enough chakra to revive more ninjas.

However, Black Zetsu didn't tell him that it was he who gave their DNA to Kabuto and led him to Madara's DNA as well without getting caught. Kabuto was his backup plan in case of Obito's failure so he helped him from behind the scenes.

"I refuse; I want the original 9-Tailed Fox with me." Madara refused to Edo Tensei, those brothers, but Zetsu didn't care. He was going to revive them regardless of what Madara thinks.
