Chapter 86 - The Upcoming Battle

"Don't look at his eyes directly," Onoki shouted, but the barrage of people attacking Madara didn't have the time to listen to him.

"Fight him!!!"

"Show him Hell!!!"

"Take this bastard!!"

The ninjas yelled as they attacked Madara with their full strength but the result was the complete opposite of what they expected.

*Boom*Clanck*Bang*

The people who tried to attack Madara were sent off flying in all directions instantly.

"What the Hell?"

"How is it possible?"

"What a monster"

The ninjas said as they watched Madara slaughtering the allied army like vegetables and moving towards them at an alarming rate.

Gaara and Onoki immediately knew that the troops would die if they didn't step up and engage Madara but before they could do something, Raikage attacked Madara.

"Take this." Raikage threw a punch at Madara, infused with Lightening Release, and tried to blitz him, but Madara, being Madara, instantly dodged it and counterattacked Raikage.

"Foolish mistake," Madara said as he grabbed a random kunai fleeing towards him and stabbed it in Raikage's neck.

"Argh" Raikage's throat was cut open as some blood spurted out like a fountain. Poor guy shouldn't have tried to engage Madara without Onoki's buff.

After that Madara moved on towards other ninjas since he didn't know that Raikage was the Kage of Hidden Cloud Village. If he knew his true identity, he would have played a little with him, but unfortunately, Madara killed him on the spot, thinking that it was a regular enemy ninja.

To Madara, Raikage was just a normal ninja, unlike the soldiers of The Hidden Cloud Village, who were too stunned to say anything.

"Was that Lord Raikage?"

"No way, how did Lord Raikage lose to that guy?"

"Noooooo..."

"That bastard, I'm going to kill him"

"Attack Madara and avenge Lord Raikage"

Hidden Cloud ninjas all became emotional and decided to attack Madara from all sides and finish him off but it only helped Madara.

"Good, that's better," Madara said as he made some hand signs.

"Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation," Madara said as he released a massive amount of fire and turned the area around the battle full of flames.

Hidden Cloud ninjas acted on their own without anyone's orders, so the alliance didn't have enough time to use Water jutsus to counter it, so a large amount of ninjas turned into charcoal and were left as ashes.

"Heavens! How are we even supposed to fight him?"

"We can't. No one has been able to land a single blow on him so far"

"Not all hope is lost. As long as Sasuke is still alive, we can win this"

"What is up with your obsession with Sasuke? A random guy can't beat that demon of the past"

"Shut up; my brother is right; only Sasuke can stop this monster. He is our only hope"

Panic took over the alliance's morale as the fire kept growing while killing ninjas, which made people realize their weakness.

Either way, the panic didn't last long as Gaara took command of the situation and coordinated some water jutsu to stop Madara's fire jutsu from spreading.

"Don't underestimate us" Temari said in a cocky manner as she saw the alliance putting out Madara's fire.

Even though Temari was a bit far from Madara, her words managed to reach Madara, which pissed him a little, so he decided to go after her.

"Why is he coming here all of a sudden?" Temari wondered as she saw Madara swarming through Hidden Sand ninjas while coming towards her.

"It's because you are a stupid bitch" Onoki said as he immediately retreated to another location since he didn't want to fight Madara alone. If Raikage was still alive, he could have made him lighter and tried to fight Madara from long range, but not now. Engaging the rampaging Madara is a death wish.

"Get behind," Gaara said to Temari as he called up his sand and prepared to face Madara all alone.

However, before Madara could reach Gaara, he stopped on his track and looked up in the sky.

Gaara was curious as to why Madara suddenly stopped his rampage, so he looked up at the sky, too.

"Sasuke?" Gaara muttered as more people started to spot Sasuke who was flying in the air without any support.

"Sasuke is here, we are saved"

"Finally, I was getting nervous for no reason"

"Why took you so long Sasuke? We almost died"

"You guys are so screwed now," Someone who had the balls of steel said to Madara and lived to tell the tale.

The ninjas who knew Sasuke had a sigh of relief after seeing Sasuke. To them, he is an unfathomable and strong person that they can rely on. They all believe that he is the strongest person on the planet and he is the only one who can defeat Madara.

"So you have finally shown yourself, Uchiha Sasuke," Madara said as he looked at Sasuke.

'He doesn't seem to have 9-Tails with him. I guess I need to go with Zetsu's plan' Madara thought since he couldn't sense Kurama inside Sasuke.

"Madara Uchiha, You are much uglier than I remember. I don't have much time, so tell me, how would you like to die?" Sasuke said as he looked in Madara's eye menacingly.

"You unruly brat. I saw your power before. How about you join me?" Madara made an offer to Sasuke as he tried to recruit him.

"Why should I join a madman who killed his disciple's lover to manipulate him? Why should I join a man who is trying to put the whole world into Genjutsu?" Sasuke said loudly.

'How does he know about that? Did Zetsu opened his mouth?' Madara wondered.

"Where is my other Rinnegan?" Madara asked as he couldn't see Rinnegan in Sasuke's eyes.

"My wife found it ugly, so I destroyed it a week ago," Sasuke said as he wondered how Madara would react once he realized that he couldn't fulfill his goal of Infinite Tsukuyomi.

"You did what?" Madara was baffled to learn what Sasuke did with his eye.

'He looks pissed but so am I. Unfortunately, I can't kill him yet till Black Zetsu is dead. In the meantime, I should use this opportunity to show everyone my strength since it will be crucial for the final quest' Sasuke thought as he decided to play with Madara to show everyone his strength.

While Sasuke was talking with Madara, a reunion between a grandpa and his granddaughter had happened in the alliance headquarters.

"Grandpa?" Tsunade said as she turned around and saw her legendary grandfather standing beside her husband's clone.

"Tsunade, is that you?" Hashirama asked as he could see some resemblance between her granddaughter and the woman in front of him.

Since they were both looking at each other dumbfounded, Sasuke's shadow clone decided to explain the situation.

"So Grandpa is an Edo Summon. Either way, I missed you" Tsunade said as she got a little emotional after seeing her dead grandpa after so many years.

"I'm also glad to see you Tsunade. I'm glad that you managed to find a man who cares for you even though he is quite younger than you. Haha," Hashirama said with a laugh.

"I'm glad that I have him in my life. It's better than dying alone. Besides I'm not old anymore due to my Husband's 'Jutsu'. We plan to start our family after this war," Tsunade said as she put her hand on her belly, indicating her pregnancy, but Hashirama was too big of a goofball to understand these types of gestures, so she had to specifically tell him about the pregnancy.

"What? You are pregnant?" Hashirama's jaw dropped after hearing that his granddaughter was pregnant. On the surface, he was shocked, but from the inside, he was incredibly happy to hear about Tsunade's baby.

"I guess that would make me a great-grandfather. I hope you can tell him about me" Hashirama said with a smile after congratulating the couple.

*Boom*Clanck*Bang

The screen that was showing the situation on the battlefield transmitted these sounds which made both Tsunade and Hashirama curious.

"Madara has attacked the alliance" Shikaku announced.

"So the news about his revival was true," Hashirama said as he looked at his old friend through the screen.

"Grandpa, please help us fight him," Tsunade asked and requested her grandpa to aid in their fight against Madara.

"I wanted to go there, but he took me here," Hashirama said as he pointed toward Sasuke.

"Lord Raikage has been killed by Madara," Shikaku announced as they saw Madara slitting Raikage's throat, which shocked everyone at the Headquarters.

"Hey clone, where is Sasuke?" Tsunade said as she demanded an answer from Sasuke's clone since she knew that people would lose hope after seeing Raikage die.

"My main body is almost there," Sasuke's clone said.

Soon, Madara used his fire jutsu and killed some ninjas, which made everyone frown.

"Are you sure that brat can stop Madara alone?" Hashirama said as he judged Sasuke's capability.

"My main body has reached the battlefield," The clone said as it canceled itself and went back to Sasuke.
