Ava was satisfied with her answer, but she didn't fail to warn her, "Good. If you try to double-cross us, you will face the worst consequences you can ever imagine."

"Take her away," Dylan said dismissively. Justin stepped forward, grabbing Nina by the arm and hauling her to her feet. The rough movement made her stumble, but she didn't resist. Her hands were still tied, and her posture was slumped in defeat.
Justin tugged at Nina's arm and pulled her up. He untied her hands before dragging her out of the house.
Gianna crept silently through the shadowed edge of the property, her steps light as she moved closer to the main house. Her pulse quickened when she spotted movement on the porch. Pressing herself against the tall hedges that bordered the area, she peered cautiously through the foliage.
