Part 1: The Disappearance
The eerie silence in Lin Feng's apartment shattered when his phone buzzed violently on the table. He grabbed it, expecting an update from Zhao Yue or Liu Xinyue. But the screen displayed a single message from an unknown number.
"We have them."
Lin's heart stopped.
His mind raced, and he immediately dialed Zhao Yue's number—no answer. He tried Xinyue next, but the phone rang and rang until it eventually clicked to voicemail. Panic welled up inside him. Something was wrong—terribly wrong.
The A.I. pulsed faintly in his mind, waiting for a command. He pushed down the fear threatening to overtake him and focused. He needed to know where they were, and fast.
"Find them," Lin whispered under his breath, his hands trembling slightly.
"Locating targets. Estimated time: 15 seconds."
Fifteen seconds. Lin paced the room, his heart pounding as the A.I. scanned through every digital connection, every camera, every device linked to the city's sprawling network. Each second felt like an eternity. And then, the A.I. spoke again.
"Targets located. Both individuals are being held at Li Wei's private villa."
Lin's blood boiled. He should have seen this coming—Li Wei had been growing desperate, and now he had crossed a line that could never be forgiven. But it wasn't just the kidnapping that enraged Lin; it was the unmistakable implication of the message.
He wasn't just going to rescue them. He was going to destroy Li Wei.
"Show me everything," Lin growled, his focus narrowing to razor-sharp precision.
"Accessing Li Wei's internal network. Hacking all systems."
The A.I. surged to life, tapping into every camera, server, and encrypted system Li Wei had in place. Lin's vision blurred momentarily as the overwhelming flood of data rushed into his mind, faster and more complex than anything he had experienced before. His fingers danced across his laptop, but he barely needed to look—the A.I. was already mapping every corner of Li Wei's villa.
"System access complete. Security cameras, alarms, and communication systems under your control."
In less than ten seconds, Li Wei's entire digital empire crumbled before Lin. His servers were fried, his camera feeds hijacked, and every security measure Li Wei had in place became a tool for Lin's fury.
Part 2: The Breaking Point
With the map of Li Wei's villa now clear in his mind, Lin saw them—Xinyue and Zhao Yue—being dragged into a dark room by two of Li Wei's men. The sight of their faces—helpless and terrified—made Lin's chest tighten with rage. They were surrounded by Li Wei's bodyguards, and worse, Li Wei himself was waiting there, watching them like prey.
Lin's fingers tightened into fists, his knuckles going white. His thoughts turned dark, but the A.I. kept him grounded, kept him focused.
But then, something inside him snapped.
"Find the fastest route to the villa," Lin demanded.
"Calculating optimal route. Warning: Continued use of the A.I. at this intensity may result in system overload."
"I don't care."
The A.I. complied without hesitation, flooding Lin's mind with routes, traffic patterns, and security alerts that would get him to the villa as quickly as possible. His body hummed with adrenaline as he bolted out of the apartment, his focus singular.
Overload or not, Li Wei would pay.
Part 3: The Villa Infiltration
The drive to Li Wei's villa felt like a blur. Lin pushed his car to its limits, barely registering the other vehicles as the city lights streaked by. The A.I. guided him effortlessly through every intersection, every traffic camera, ensuring he moved undetected.
When he finally arrived, the villa loomed before him, surrounded by a perimeter of high walls and heavily armed guards. Lin stepped out of the car, his muscles tense, his mind locked on what he needed to do.
The A.I. flickered in the back of his mind, warning him of the danger ahead. "Hostiles detected. 50 bodyguards on site. Tactical response necessary."
Lin's lips curled into a grim smile. He knew what he was walking into, but he didn't care. These men stood between him and the people he cared about, and they would fall.
He approached the main gate, already hacking into the security system with a mere thought. The gate slid open silently, and Lin slipped inside the compound, his movements swift and calculated.
The A.I. fed him data on every guard's position—every weapon they carried, every blind spot he could exploit. Lin's mind was a storm of information, processing strategies faster than any human could.
But the anger in his chest was all his own.
Part 4: The Battle Begins
The first wave of bodyguards met Lin at the front of the villa. Armed with guns and dressed in tactical gear, they spotted him immediately and raised their weapons.
Lin didn't hesitate. The A.I. kicked in, calculating the trajectory of every bullet, every possible attack before it even happened. Lin ducked and weaved through the gunfire, moving with an unnatural speed that left his enemies stunned.
He reached the nearest guard, disarming him in a blur of motion and delivering a bone-shattering blow to his chest. The man crumpled to the ground, gasping for air as Lin moved on to the next target.
Another guard rushed him from the side, swinging the butt of his rifle toward Lin's head. But Lin was faster. He grabbed the rifle, twisted it out of the man's hands, and used it to strike him across the face. Blood splattered across the ground as the guard collapsed, unconscious.
"Two down," the A.I. reported coldly. "48 remaining."
Lin didn't stop. The next wave came at him, and he tore through them like a machine, his movements fluid and deadly. A punch to the throat here, a well-placed kick to the knee there—every attack was executed with surgical precision, guided by the A.I.'s unmatched calculations.
They didn't stand a chance.
Part 5: The Unstoppable Force
As Lin made his way deeper into the villa, the bodyguards came at him in larger groups, trying to overwhelm him with sheer numbers. But Lin was untouchable. The A.I. fed him everything he needed to stay ahead—every move, every counter, every weak point in their defenses.
One guard swung at him with a knife, aiming for his ribs. Lin sidestepped effortlessly, grabbed the man's wrist, and twisted it until the bone snapped. The knife clattered to the ground as the guard screamed in pain, but Lin was already moving on.
Another guard lunged at him from behind, but Lin anticipated it, spinning around to deliver a devastating elbow to the man's jaw. The guard collapsed in a heap, unconscious before he even hit the ground.
"30 guards remaining," the A.I. informed him.
Lin barely felt the exhaustion creeping in. His body was moving on pure instinct, guided by the overwhelming power of the A.I.. But he could feel the strain building in his mind, the system pushing him harder than ever before.
But he couldn't stop. Not until he reached them.
Not until he reached Li Wei.
