Everyone stood in stunned silence watching Kaizoku overwhelm Cerberus.
Kaizoku breathed heavily, having expended all his energy just to weaken Cerberus. It was worth nothing that Kaizoku was merely a human with minor enhancements - even with repeated assistance, he remained human with limited energy reserves.
"Grrrhhhh... I can't stop now... I must endure without anyone's help, I must fight enemies on my own!"
Kaizoku's rage intensified, making his heart beat faster, pumping Hero's Blood throughout his veins.
Slowly but surely, he walked toward Cerberus's fallen left head that lay motionless.
Kaizoku raised his sword and struck Cerberus's left neck with tremendous force.
Cerberus tried to stand but struggled, his missing lower leg making it impossible to gain proper footing.
"AAAARRGGHHH!!!! DIE YOU CURSED DOG! YOU DISGUSTING DOG! YOU ARROGANT DOG! DIE AND NEVER COMEBACK!"
Kaizoku repeatedly stabbing Cerberus's neck until he was halfway through, nearly severing the left head.
Kaizoku's white hair spread further, completely transforming the right front portion of his hair white.
Finally, Kaizoku severed Cerberus's left head from his body. Only the right head remained.
A hero's rage wasn't ordinary anger - it stemmed from powerful motivation. Was Kaizoku's fury merely because Sylphy was hurt? Or did he have another reason for such intense anger?
With an expressionless face, Kaizoku stared intensely into the eyes of Cerberus's right head.
That gaze made Cerberus realize his opponent wasn't ordinary, but the hero whom the demon lord sought.
This realization filled Cerberus with fear and doubt about fighting a hero with potential matching the demon lord's.
But this realization came too late for Cerberus. He could only pretend to be brave and fight back, his pride refusing to be crushed by a single person.
"Come on, you damned dog, are you going to lie there lazily? Get up."
Kaizoku's words sounded like commands to Cerberus. Now aware of who he faced, Cerberus obeyed the hero's order.
With great effort, Cerberus stood on his remaining three legs. With only one head left, he was severely weakened and in pain.
Cerberus lowered his head before Kaizoku, who was covered in the Cerberus' green fluid.
This gesture signified Cerberus's admission of defeat and surrender of victory to Kaizoku.
The rage within Kaizoku hadn't accepted Cerberus's surrender - in his consciousness, he desperately wanted to kill Cerberus.
No matter how hard Kaizoku tried to contain his anger, he couldn't let Cerberus live.
Cerberus understood Kaizoku's decision just from his gaze and resigned himself to death.
Kaizoku climbed up the nose, forehead, and onto Cerberus's head. Full of rage, he thrust his sword directly into Cerberus's brain, then drove it forward through to his nose.
Killing Cerberus's final head.
The battle was won by Kaizoku, who had succeeded in killing Cerberus by destroying all three of his brains.
Everyone remained silent, not daring to cheer.
"Just, give me my reward now." Kaizoku demands with cold tone.
A ring fell from the sky, which Kaizoku caught and placed on his middle finger.
He walked away toward the still unconscious Sylphy.
