Gon lowered his head further, looking at Kaizoku and Sylphy who were still bowing before him.
"Hee.... Billy and Mary, huh..."
Gon spoke these words with an eerie and very hoarse voice, enough to make Kaizoku and Sylphy more frightened.
"Stand..."
Gon ordered the three of them to stand and show their faces.
"Huh... I don't believe a human could defeat my legendary titan pet, Cerberus..."
Just as the three stood, Lord Gon rose majestically from his throne to face them.
Gon walked slightly closer to Kaizoku and stared at his face.
Since Lord Gon was almost the same height as Kaizoku, they ended up staring at each other with serious expressions, though Kaizoku tried to contain his fear.
"Lilith, prepare our dining table. I want to speak with our two special guests."
Gon instructed Lilith to prepare the table for their dinner. Lilith bowed her head and walked away, leaving Kaizoku and Sylphy.
"Billy... Your face looks very familiar, have we met before...?"
Lord Gon's words made Kaizoku nervous and uncertain because he thought Lord Gon might know his identity as the hero in this world.
Forcing himself to be brave, Kaizoku answered. "No, no my lord. I'm certain we've never met before."
Gon didn't believe what Kaizoku said. He was very sure they had met before. "No... Gon is certain we have met before."
Gon looked at Kaizoku's face even closer. The closer he got, the more scared and nervous Kaizoku became, seeing the dragon skull face with green fire eyes examining him so closely.
Before the situation could escalate, suddenly Lilith spoke from behind Kaizoku and Sylphy.
"Lord Gon, the dining table is ready. Dinner will begin shortly."
Due to Lilith's announcement that dinner was ready to commence, Gon finally relented from his interrogation of Kaizoku.
"We'll continue our matter after dinner is finished."
Gon walked ahead with Lilith, leaving Kaizoku and Sylphy alone.
Sylphy, curious, asked Kaizoku to confirm whether they had met before or not. "Are you sure you've never met Lord Gon? Why is he so convinced that he's met you?"
Kaizoku answered with a quite serious expression. "I don't know, I'm sure I've never met a person or any human with dragon skull head in my life."
Although curiosity still plagued Sylphy, she chose to dismiss it to maintain their careful behavior and avoid suspicion.
"Huh... Whatever your issue with Lord Gon, we must stay professional to protect our reputation and hope he can help us get out of the Underworld."
Kaizoku was absolutely certain he had never met Lord Gon and stood firm in his conviction.
"Ggrhh... Whatever, I'm sure I've never met him."
Sylphy, who no longer cared, finally walked back to the stairs to head to the second floor dining room.
Back downstairs. Although Kaizoku was very tired, he still forced himself to walk down the stairs.
Unlike Sylphy and others who often trained and climbed stairs, Kaizoku was just an ordinary young man who never exercised.
Thanks to Hero's Blood that kept Kaizoku standing straight; without Hero's Blood, Kaizoku would have fainted just from climbing and descending stairs.
