Kaizoku walked towards Gon and Lilith, moving slowly without showing the slightest emotion.
"Look at this pathetic hero, having lost someone precious," Lilith openly mocked Kaizoku's grief.
"Well, it doesn't matter anyway. You don't stand a chance of winning anymore. What can you possibly do with just one eye?" Lilith laughed again, this time mocking Kaizoku's now one-eyed state.
Unlike Lilith who was busy mocking Kaizoku, Gon remained silent, watching as Kaizoku drew closer.
"You kidnapped Eve, destroyed Sylphy, and took my left eye... You truly are unforgivable. Now I understand why I was summoned to this world..." Kaizoku said with a blank expression.
"But too bad, your journey ends here!" Lilith's clone flew toward Kaizoku with incredible speed.
However, before the clone could touch Kaizoku, its head suddenly split in two and vanished into ashes.
"W-What!? Impossible!"
Lilith was shocked to see her clone destroyed in less than a second. She hadn't seen Kaizoku move at all, leaving her bewildered at how he had killed her clone so easily and quickly.
"That... That's impossible! You can't surpass us! We are the rulers of the Underworld! The most terrifying realm! It's impossible to defeat death!"
Lilith exclaimed, still unable to accept the reality that Kaizoku had suddenly become more powerful.
"I won't allow it!" Lilith flew at tremendous speed toward Kaizoku, who continued walking foward.
"HIIYYAAAAAA!!!"
With fierce determination, Lilith thrust her shield toward Kaizoku's chest as he kept walking slowly.
Just as the shield was about to strike Kaizoku's chest, Lilith suddenly felt short of breath, and her vision slowly faded.
The last thing Lilith felt was the sensation of her head falling from her body. The last thing Lilith saw was Kaizoku's dirty and tattered shoes.
Lilith died by Kaizoku's hand in the same way as her clone, her head separated from her body and falling before Kaizoku's shoes.
Kaizoku kept walking forward as if nothing had happened, moving closer to Gon, who had remained silent while watching Kaizoku kill his loyal servant.
Upon reaching Gon, Kaizoku unwrapped the bandages from his left eye, showing Gon his white pupil—the blind eye caused by the fluid from Gon's scythe.
"Thank you, Gon... You gave me both a curse and a blessing. The curse you gave me was taking my sight in one eye, but the blessing you gave me was extraordinary power. I don't know whether I should thank you or be angry with you; honestly, I'm confused."
Kaizoku looked up, staring directly at Gon's head, who remained still while listening to all of Kaizoku's words.
"I recognize you, from your face and body. You're the dragon from your painting, aren't you? Waiting for a worthy opponent? Finally, your goal has been achieved—it's me. And that face, I'll never forget the dragon's head that hurt Sylphy."
Gon remained silent for a moment, then mustered the courage to ask Kaizoku.
"You mentioned a curse and blessing, but haven't revealed what blessing Gon gave you," Gon said questioningly.
"What blessing did you give? Heh... This is the blessing you gave me... Deadeye."
Around Kaizoku's white pupil, more than four blood vessels appeared.
