"ARRRRGGHHHH!!!" Gon covered his eyes with his palms, writhing in pain from Kaizoku's shot.
The green liquid covering Gon's entire body slowly dissipated, giving Kaizoku an opportunity to attack freely.
"Heh... Heh... Hehe..." but it seemed Gon hadn't lost his sight, only the core of his liquid defense.
"Those eyes are truly annoying..."
Quickly and very sudden, out of nowhere a human skeleton rose from the ground behind Kaizoku and immediately covered his left eye with its skeletal palm.
The skeleton hand is ancient, covered in moss and grass that had grown over its bones.
The hand covering Kaizoku's left eye suddenly the moss and grass spreading very fast, enveloping Kaizoku's head from back to front.
"No... No! Not now! Damn! Off my face! Take it off now!"
Kaizoku tried to remove the hand, but it was futile as the moss and grass growing around his head seemed to lock the skeletal hand in place.
"Hehe... HAHAHAHA!! NOW IS THE PERFECT TIME FOR THE TRUE FINAL BATTLE!" Gon shouted, laughing.
Kaizoku gave up trying to pull the hand away, realizing it would take too long to free his left eye.
Kaizoku attempted to activate Deadeye but failed, as his left eye's vision was blocked by the skeleton's hand. "Tch! So cowardly move, can't handle my power? Just say if you scared of it."
The skeleton crumbled into sand after its hand was completely locked to Kaizoku's eye with moss and grass.
"Berserker..."
"Chamenos..."
They each called forth their weapons. The scythe named Chamenos flew toward Gon, who caught it with his right hand.
The great sword named Berserker flew to Kaizoku, landing perfectly in his grip.
Gon without his destructive green liquid, and Kaizoku without Deadeye would fight fairly. They would rely solely on their combat abilities and cleverness in using their respective spells.
They ran at each other.
Gon summoned a skeleton from beneath the ground, leaping toward Kaizoku.
Kaizoku quickly slashed through the skeleton with tremendous force, cleaving it in two.
With his left hand, Kaizoku attempted to counter-attack by shooting at Gon.
But Gon easily dodged the bullet.
When Kaizoku tried to shoot again, he found the cylinder empty. He needed to reload with another bullet. "Damn it..."
Because Kaizoku failed to attack again, Gon managed to land his strike on Kaizoku's chest.
With his scythe, Gon successfully wounded Kaizoku's chest.
"Guh!?" Kaizoku quickly countered by striking Gon's head hard with his revolver butt.
The counter-attack forced Gon to temporarily retreat.
Gon's right eye cracked slightly from Kaizoku's strike with the revolver.
Both backed away, enduring their respective wounds.
Kaizoku covered the wound on his chest with his right hand.
Collapsing into a kneeling position, Kaizoku had used too much of the Creation spell, severely depleting his soul energy.
Like Kaizoku, Gon fell to his knees, weakened from maintaining his destructive liquid defense for too long.
But Kaizoku hadn't given up, his resolve to survive and save the world remained strong.
Kaizoku thrust his sword into the ground to help himself stand. A small smile appeared on Kaizoku's mouth.
Like Kaizoku, Gon used his scythe as support to stand.
"HHYAAAAAA!!!" Kaizoku screamed as loudly as possible while charging forward.
Gon remained still, seemingly having planned how to defeat Kaizoku.
As Kaizoku approached Gon, suddenly another skeleton emerged from below, jumping in front of Kaizoku.
But instead of slashing it, Kaizoku dodged the skeleton.
"HUH?!!!!"
Gon was shocked as Kaizoku's movement had deviated from his plan.
"With the gods and goddesses within me, flowing into my sword. Flowing like a river, moving freely like the wind, a final slash that will end darkness. LIGHT'S SLASH!!" Kaizoku's sword blazed with bright yellow-white light.
Kaizoku swung his sword at Gon's head.
Gon tried to dodge by jumping backward, but it was futile. His dragon head jaw was still caught by the slash.
Bright light illuminated the entire Underworld, and slowly Gon's jaw began to crack.
"HIYAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!" Kaizoku screamed while pushing his sword even harder.
"GAAAAAHHHH!!!!" it was impossible for Gon to escape, the bright light had spread throughout the Underworld and temporarily blinded him.
"I WILL SAVE THE WORLD! AND NOTHING CAN STOP ME!" Kaizoku's push grew stronger.

.
"How can I destroy Gon's bones? Surely I'm not strong enough to break them with just a sword and muscles." Kaizoku spoke into the void.
A voice, the same one from when Kaizoku was asleep, answered his words. While laughing, the female voice responded enthusiastically. "For that, you only need to memorize the spell chant that I will give you."
Kaizoku paused briefly, then replied with a confused expression. "What spell chant?"
The female voice chuckled slightly, then answered energetically again. "With the gods and goddesses within me, flowing into my sword. Flowing like a river, moving freely like the wind, a final slash that will end darkness. Light's Slash."
"By reciting this chant, you'll be blessed by the gods and goddesses watching over you. The gods' and goddesses' blessing is perfect for penetrating all defenses of darkness or evil."
After thinking for a moment, Kaizoku finally understood what the woman was talking about. "Ah! I understand, I once read in a game where powers like Gon's would be weak against holy-type attacks."
"Exactly!" said the invisible woman.

.
"THIS ENDS HERE!"
Kaizoku's slash successfully shattered Gon's lower jaw into pieces.
Gon was thrown very far, hitting the Colosseum wall.
It didn't take long for the wall holding Gon to shatter into pieces.
Some of the wall's debris fell into the soul sea, where the souls pulled the rubble down into the depths.
Kaizoku was at his limit of exhaustion and weakness. Even so, he wanted to confirm if Gon was truly dead or still alive.
He walked through the scattered dust clouds.
Upon arriving, Kaizoku saw Gon without his lower jaw, sitting and looking down, silent and unable to speak anymore.
"Still alive, huh... Let's finish this..." with labored breath, Kaizoku tried to lift his sword again. But Kaizoku was too weak and tired, failing to raise his sword again.
"Enough..." Gon said with more human calm tone.
"That voice, it sounds so familiar."
Gon's voice was very different from before. This time it truly sounded human, like a young man of Kaizoku's age.
Neither too deep like before, nor too shrill like before.
"Impossible... you can't be him..." Kaizoku looked extremely shocked yet confused at the same time.
The person shifted the upper dragon head previously known as 'Gon' to the right side.
Revealing a human skull, but this skull retained a right eye and surrounding skin that remained active like a living human's.
The eye could still blink and looked at Kaizoku with deep sadness.
"That green eye... I know it, no... this is impossible..." Kaizoku stepped backward, still disbelieving what he saw.
The person stood up. "That's right, Kai. You know me..."
"Dora... Doraziel?" Kaizoku said with an expression of disbelief.
In the distance, Sylphy's ears twitched slightly. A small smile appeared.
"Doraziel... I miss that name." Sylphy said weakly with closed eyes.
Kaizoku still couldn't believe that the person he had fought was someone he knew.
"Yes, I am Doraziel, your best friend. I suprised that you still remember my voice." Doraziel said with serious eyes.
Kaizoku shook his head, still unable to believe what he saw. "No... Raziel is dead, he's dead! You're not him! HE'S DEAD! I HAVE NO BEST FRIEND ANYMORE!"
Slowly Doraziel walked backward. "True, I am dead... Finally I know what happens after death, which is transferring to this world."
"No... No! Raziel please, don't lie to me. I'm sorry! If that really you, please forgive me! Forgive me for leaving yoh, please..." Kaizoku tried to walk forward with a sad face.
"It's all too late, you killed Raziel, and now you've killed Gon. My only best friend and faithful companion, and you also killed one of my most loyal servants. It's too late for that, Kai."
Finally, Doraziel reached the edge of the cliff, above the Ocean of Souls.
"No, Raziel. Come on, I'm sure there's still time to forgive me... please.. let's go save the world like in your dream! There's time to defeat demon lord and back to our world again..."
"It's impossible to defeat demon lord, Kai. Everything is too late... Goodbye Gon, goodbye Kai..." Doraziel jumped from the cliff toward the sea of souls.
"No!!" Kaizoku ran quickly trying to save Doraziel, but it was too late.
Doraziel fell into the Oea of Souls and his body began to be pulled by the souls into the bottomless ocean.
Kaizoku pounded the ground in anger, blaming himself for failing to save someone he knew from his previous world.
"Why... WHY!! WHY DO I KEEP FAILING TO SAVE THE PEOPLE I LOVE! RAZIEL, EVE, AND SYLPHY... AM I WORTHY AS A HERO!? ANSWER ME GODS AND GODDESSES!!"
Kaizoku cried his heart out after seeing Doraziel being pulled into the Oea of Souls.
Both his hands began bleeding, his eyes turned red, and his tears were exhausted.
After couple of time, Kaizoku stopped pounding the ground and crying. He took heavy breaths.
"Enough, there's no time to keep crying... I better find another way out of the Underworld."
Kaizoku walked to Sylphy's body, then lifted her with both hands.
A mysterious man with the same black boots as when Kaizoku and Sylphy entered the Underworld was watching Kaizoku carrying Sylphy from afar, atop a very high hill.
"Heh... their journey was indeed very interesting." The person raised his hand forward.
It can be seen that the mysterious man has white hair on half of his black hair. The man snapped his fingers.
Suddenly, a staircase made of stone formed beside Kaizoku.
Kaizoku saw the top of the stairs, which was the same portal as when he and Sylphy first arrived in the Underworld.
"Is this your answer? Huh, gods and goddesses! Surely that's not enough to patch my wounds? Seeing my best friend fall into a bottomless ocean!? But it's okay, there's nothing I can do anyway, what matters is we can get out of the Underworld first."
Kaizoku, carrying Sylphy's body, began climbing the stairs, hoping they would successfully escape the Underworld safely.
Kaizoku couldn't bear to look at Sylphy's broken body and blood-covered body, so he could only look forward and up.
After some time, they finally managed to exit the Underworld through the same portal that Kaizoku and Sylphy had fallen through.
The sun shone very brightly, making Kaizoku's eyes hurt temporarily.
When Kaizoku's vision returned to normal, he saw Gabriel and Hizo praying at two graves in front of the empty forced labor camp.
Kaizoku tried to approach them.
"Hey, where was your help, huh!?" said Kaizoku with a terrible face, all emotions mixed up.
"Ppsssttt... we're pray- AAAHHHH!!! GHOST!" said Gabriel after seeing Kaizoku in such terrible condition.
"Be quiet Gabriel, we're praying for Kaizoku and Sylphy... AAAHHHHH!!! REALLY A GHOST!" Hizo shocked after seeing Kaizoku in such terrible condition.
"Show some respect! I just survived the Underworld, damn it!" said Kaizoku full of anger.
"B-But no one has ever escaped the Underworld alive..." Gabriel answered while hugging Hizo in fear.
Hizo saw Sylphy's broken body and began taking the situation more seriously. "Oh... I'm sorry Kai, we didn't expect you to return. So we made graves to remember you."
Gabriel also realized that Kaizoku was truly serious about the situation. "I'm sorry Kai, sorry we couldn't help you in the Underworld. We were really overwhelmed fighting Thomas and his forces up here. But luckly, we defeated them, but Thomas has gotten away."
Gabriel released his embrace from Hizo. "Looks like we only need one grave after all... I'm sorry about Sylphy."
It was starting to get dark, the sun was starting to set... Gabriel and Hizo helped Kaizoku lift Sylphy who was very terrible condition.
Didn't expect that Kaizoku was the only person who managed to escape the terror of the Underworld which was filled with nightmares.
