The wedding

Come on my dear smile,you're getting married to the richest guy in town show some excitement!, I faked a smile hoping he would live me alone after that,but no he persisted ,I always dreamt that one day my daughter will change the history of my life,and here you are now .

Everyone knew my father was a selfish man,but today I confirmed it to be true,getting a 19 yr old married to a 35 yr old because of status ,while I helplessly stood by and watched it take place,if only I was powerful enough to stand up for myself but then I was just as weak as my mum.

In my white long flowing dress, I stared at my soon to be husband, he stared his eyes void of emotion, and his face stern. When the wedding was finally over, we went home, the house silent,as no one was willing to start the conversation .
