Slay the beast!

Terra looks at the grotesque creature before her. "What the hell, why is there a Graith here?!" She shouts.

The Graith continues it's attack showcasing it's insane spead. It wastes no time in going straight for her head.

Ray quickly blocks the attack with his barrier. Terra opens a golden portal behind her. She pulls out a sword much larger then the previous one and slashes the Graith!

A large gash created by the tack will heal instantly.

Shocked by the healing of the beast she jumps back. The Graith closes the gap immediately swinging again. Terra blocks it and then opens another portal shooting blades into it's chest, causing it's crimson blood to spray out.

The Graith howls. It charges for her. Barely reacting in time she swings her blade. The Graith dodges and ends up behind her. Ray summons another barrier shielding her as the hit sends her flying.

Terra tosses her hair from her face. "How am I supposed to land a good hit on something this fast!" She shouts.

The Graith charges for her again. She dodges the blows, with an equally impressive speed. One of the strikes come for her too fast. She braces herself for the impact.

Another slash to the back of the Graith causes the attack to stop. Terra looks at her rescuer and it's Max. "I'm glad that I've caught up with you two!" Max says relief filling his words.

"I made a horrible mistake earlier. This dungeon is a much higher grade then I originally thought, we should have brung a B rank mage with us, we cannot win this fight!" Max explains to them.

He looks back and notices Kaito on the floor. "Damn, I should've been there to protect him!" Max curses himself. Terra comes to his side. "We can't retreat, so that means we have to beat the thing." Terra says her determination evident.

Ray nods agreeing with her. "Kaito is hurt, and we don't know where Emma is, attempting to run would doom them." Ray says.

Max bites his tongue, before agreeing. "Fine then, the possibility of victory is slim but there's a chance." Max says his two friends by his side.

"Terra stay in the front lines with me, Ray back us up but be careful not to extend to much mana, so only sheild in dire circumstances!" Max instructs.

The Graith returns and continues the attack.

It charges for Max this time who propels himself back towards the Graith with wind magic. He plunges his blade into it's chest before Terra flies in with two slashes to it's head.

The Graith whacks her with a tentacle, it attempts to crush Max but he jumps back. The Graith swings for Terra again. She flips out of the way and stabs into it's stomach.

The Graith helps around her sword trapping her in place. Ray shields her before she's crushed by the attack.

The Graith throws her to the side and then aims it's attention at Ray.

"It's targeting Ray!" Max shouts. The Graith showcasing it's speed once more dashes in front of Ray startling him. Before the attack can land Max charges in.

Almost like it was planned the Graith turns it's attention and a powerful blow send Max across the room. The Graith then goes for Ray again. Terra runs in catching Max and throwing him back in at the Graith.

He uses wind to further accelerate himself and he stabs the Graith in it's face. The Graith roars out. Terra springs forwards her blade begging to glow. "Weapon arte!" She shouts as her blade glows a brilliant silver.

She leaps into the air. "Wolves reckoning!" A large silver ring of light, comes firing from her blade slicing into the Graith.

The beasts body falls to the ground lifeless. Terra laughs. "I told you I'd have the team on my back Max!" She happily says.

Max rolls his eyes. "You were following my lead." He says.

Ray laughs nervously. "Lets hurry up and grab everyone and get out of here." He says

.

Terra agrees. "Fine but when we leave Max you owe me dri-" Terra's sentence it's cut off by a horrible sight.

The Graith has returned to it's feet and plunged a hand through Rays stomach. Blood spills onto their faces and they both yell a terrified scream at the sight of their long time friend.
