An Interesting Woman

Odelia's POV

This afternoon, I was making dinner for me and Sean before he went home. However, someone came to the house. I thought it was him, but it was a very beautiful elegantly dressed woman.

"I'm sorry, who are you?" I asked her.

"Me? My name is Megan Turnner. I'm Sean's fiancée," she replied, smiling proudly at me.

Sean's fiancée? But he didn't say that, he didn't have a fiancé.

He also said that he wasn't close to any woman, so why was this woman suddenly saying that she was Sean's fiancée?

"So Sean isn't home yet?" she asked casually.

How can she be so casual when she knows I'm the wife of her fiancé. Has Sean told her about our contract marriage?

"Yes, he hasn't come home yet. Come sit in the guest house first, I'm sure he'll be here soon," I invited her to sit and wait in the living room.

She shook her wavy black hair at me then walked into the living room carrying a very expensive shopping bag. It was really a lot, it must have cost millions of dollars.

I went to the kitchen to get her some tea and placed it in front of her.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know Sean had a fiancée. I thought he didn't have anyone with him," I said as I sat down next to her.

Megan took the tea and sipped it. "No problem, I've heard about your situation. So how's the baby?"

"Huh? Oh it's healthy. It's fine so there's nothing to worry about."

"Good then, I hope the baby will get better every day. Because I will also help take care of it later if you still choose to stay together with Sean."

Help take care of my baby?

Why did she say that I would choose to stay with him, didn't that mean I would be between the two of them?

Or maybe... Megan is going to take care of my baby along with Sean? They don't intend to take my baby, do they?

"I'm sorry, I have to continue my cooking," I said as I stood up from where I was sitting and went to the kitchen.

I tried to dismiss the possibility and continued cooking dinner. I'll ask him about it directly, what he really wants and who Megan really is.

Right after I arranged the food for the three of us, I heard someone pressing the front door password. It must be him!

I took off my apron and hurriedly walked to meet her at the front door.

However, I was just about to get there. I saw that Megan was already at the door and hugged Sean tightly.

She even kissed his cheek, are they really engaged? They look like they love each other.

Am I actually a disturber? My presence between the two of them. Why did things suddenly turn out like this...

"Odelia!" I heard him call my name, I walked over to him and Sean rubbed my head gently.

He did that every time he came home from work. It felt so soothing, but his fiancée was here at the moment. She would definitely feel jealous.

"Sean, it's better not to do that. Your fiancé might get jealous," I told him as I lowered his hand from my head.

"Fiancé? Who are you talking about?" he asked me.

He looked even more confused than I did, what did he mean by asking such a question? She was clearly in front of us.

"Your fiancée, Miss Megan," I replied, pointing at Megan.

Sean turned to Megan and suddenly pulled her cheek. She looked like she was whimpering in pain, I couldn't understand why he had to do that.

"What did you say to my wife, huh?"

"Ouch ouch... Let go of me first!"

I could see she was in pain even though Sean didn't seem to pull hard. He then let go of Megan's cheek and she rubbed her cheek.

"I was just going to joke with her, she actually believes me."

"Joke with me? What do you mean? I really don't understand..."

"Huft... She's not my fiancée, Odelia. She's my younger sister who I told you about."

His younger sister?

Ohh... That designer, I almost forgot about that. I didn't realize she was his younger sister. I thought she was his real fiancee.

"Megan, apologize to her. You're making her think bad things," Sean said to his little sister.

Megan took both my hands and kissed them. "I'm sorry, sister-in-law! I didn't mean to do it! I just wanted to tease you earlier!"

"I-it's okay, I..."

However, before I could finish speaking, Megan ran into the living room and returned with all the shopping bags she had brought earlier and gave them to me.

"I bought all this for you! I was so happy when I heard I was going to be an aunt, even though Sean forced you to do it! Take this as a gift from me!" she said as she gave me all the gifts.

I was surprised to receive them because there were so many things inside. But Sean immediately took all the bags from my hands and put them on the floor.

"You can press her stomach, she's pregnant, Megan. Do you want to make her carry heavy things like that?"

"No, that's not what I meant! Ah you, I feel so guilty!" she scolded Sean.

The two of them actually fought like siblings, I missed my little brother when I saw their fight. But I quickly separated them.

"No need to fight, i'm okay. Let's have dinner. The food is ready," I said separating them.

"Humph he's the one who always scolds me, you grumpy bastard!" said Megan as she stuck her tongue out at Sean.

"Megan!"

I saw her laugh and hide behind me. "Sister-in-law, your husband is so grumpy! Just take him, you don't have to give him back. If you get tired of it, sell it at the market!"

I held Sean's body back as he was about to approach Megan in a fit of rage from the woman's taunts.

"S-Sean calm down, Megan was just joking. There's no need to be so angry!" I said holding both of his chests to keep him from getting too angry.

He sighed and kissed my forehead, saying that he wanted to take a shower first before dinner. Sean then left me and Megan.

Fyuh... They finally stopped fighting too.

"Wow you were able to tame him? That's great! This is the first time I've seen Sean tame someone."

"You also shouldn't tease him with weird things." I gave her a little advice so that she would understand.

Megan nodded and hugged me suddenly.

"I finally have a big sister. Let's spend a lot of time together later!" she said excitedly.

This was the first time someone had been so kind to me, even though we had just gotten to know each other. Sean was right, his little sister would like me a lot and I think I would like her too.

"Yes, I want to be good friends with you.
