She's Not Barren, I Know That!

In his seat, a blonde-haired man was looking at the wedding ring on his hand. The ring that had been on his wife's finger for four years. Now it looked like a no-woman's land.

"Where did you go, Odelia. I really feel empty without you around. It's all their fault, I've always treated you well. But why am I being punished by being separated from you," Vincent said while clutching their wedding rings.

Vincent felt like giving up on finding her, but his desire to meet Odelia was overwhelming. He couldn't hold himself back any longer to meet her.

His mother was always trying to threaten him with things to get him to do what she said. However, Vincent was tired of it all. All this time it was like he was married to his own mother and not Odelia.

Following all her wishes and not even being able to argue with her, made him realize that he should have defended his wife even harder instead of following his mother's words which only brought ruin to his current household.

"If I manage to find you again, I promise that I will keep you away from them. I will drive them away to keep them safe, Odelia."

Just as he was at his point of resignation, a knock on the door was heard. He turned to the door of his office and let whoever it was inside.

Shortly after, a man who was his secretary entered the room with an envelope in his hand.

"Neil, what is this envelope in your hand?" he asked.

"This is the information you requested, Mr. Vincent. Information about Mrs. Percy," Neil replied and put the envelope down.

He was asked to find information about Odelia by deploying many men to find her. And the information he had asked for had finally come.

Vincent immediately opened the envelope and saw several photos of Odelia. There was a smile on his face as he was happy to see the latest photos of the woman. However, there was one thing that surprised him.

"She's... Pregnant?" he asked in surprise when he saw Odelia's huge belly.

"From our paid informant, Mrs. Percy is indeed pregnant. As for her gestational age, I didn't get that information. But judging by the size of her belly, I think it's seven months old, sir," Neil explained.

"Seven months? Odelia left home eight to nine months ago. Is... Is this my child?" Vincent looked expectantly at the photo of Odelia shopping.

He fingered Odelia's stomach in the photo. "My kid..."

"I have one more important piece of information to convey, Mr. Vincent," Neil said in a somewhat hesitant tone.

"What's that? Oh right, where is she? I need to get her home and prove to mom and everyone else that my wife is not infertile!" said the CEO happily.

"From the information obtained, Mrs. Percy's last name is no longer Percy or Grace, but Osbert, sir. The same surname as the CEO of TechnOzone who is always seen with her."

Instantly the smile on Vincent's face faded, as if he could not believe what he had just heard at this moment. Odelia's new family was Osbert? An Osbert derived from Sean Osbert the CEO of their corporate enemy?

"You're not joking, are you?"

"I'm afraid not, sir. This is the information they got," replied the secretary as he took another photo out of his coat pocket and handed it to his boss.

It was a photo taken yesterday, when Odelia and Sean were sitting on a bench in front of a shop after they had lunch at a restaurant with a business partner.

It could be seen that Odelia leaned her head on Sean's shoulder and he put his arm around her. This made Vincent surprised and couldn't stop thinking, all this time he had been so stressed looking for Odelia but she was having fun with another man. Moreover, he was his enemy all this time.

'Are mom and Alice said really true? Odelia ran off with another man and it was Sean Osbert? But why and when did they get to know each other?' he thought with worry if what they were saying was real.

"No no, this must be just a coincidence. There's no way Odelia was with him, they've never even met before. And the child in her belly is definitely mine. Yes... He must be my son," he said trying to be denial.

He then asked Neil to make an appointment with Sean, he wanted to discuss this with the man. Vincent also asked that information about Odelia be sought until he could find out where she lived.

Still feeling happy and in denial about reality. Vincent brought all the photos to show his family, telling them that they were wrong about Odelia.

Later that evening, Samantha, Alice and Monica were waiting for Vincent in the dining room after their food had arrived.

Since Odelia had left, none of them wanted to cook. They always ate at restaurants or ordered expensive food for their meals.

"Until now Vin is still thinking about Odelia. It's so annoying, what should I do?" Monica asked irritably.

"Heh... He's just as stubborn as his father. If he finds Odelia, things will get even messier. If that crazy woman wasn't the wife of the Osbert family, I'd have paid someone to kill her!" said Samantha in exasperation.

Alice sighed, feeling confused by her brother who loved an ugly and stupid woman like Odelia too much instead of Monica who was clearly much better than her.

"Isn't there any other way to..." her words trailed off as she heard the front door open and footsteps enter the house. "Vin's home!"

The three women immediately stopped their chatter so Vincent wouldn't hear them. And as he entered the dining room, the man immediately pulled out an envelope with a photo of Odelia in it.

"You three, always calling her a barren woman. But look at this, she's pregnant and she's pregnant with my child!" Vincent told them.

Of course the three of them were surprised to see Vincent get the photo, which meant he already knew about Odelia.

He continued to scold them, saying that he would kick them out after he managed to bring Odelia back home.

"This house can only be lived in by me, Odelia and our children! I want you out of this house!"

"What the hell are you, Vin?! You really want to kick us out because of that woman! How did you know she was your daughter anyway?" asked Alice in annoyance.

"Of course I know because she's my wife, that is definitely my child! Do you think Odelia would do it with another man? You're wrong, she's not that kind of woman!" he snapped back at them.

There was a big argument between Vincent and Samantha because of course Samantha didn't want Odelia back in their family, she was sure that it must be Sean's child. Even if it was her son's child, she still didn't want to accept Odelia back.

"Mom always wants to win and doesn't want to admit you're wrong! She carried my child and I have to bring her back!"

As she continued to be pressured by Vincent, a furious Samantha finally exploded.

"That baby isn't yours, it's the Osbert family's!" she angrily replied.

Instantly the dining room went silent, Vincent seemed to realize that he hadn't even mentioned Osbert's name before, so how could his mother mention it in their argument.

"You... figured it out?"
