Nooooo!!

January 24th

Diary, i feel so sad at the moment. Everything just seems hopeless right now. Mum's younger sister had her first child yesterday so she had to travel to another state to help her with the baby. So Ray's gonna come home on the 30th and Dad's not gonna be home for a while. Truth is, Mum's also gonna meet Dad since he's in the same state, where Mum travelled to.

I still had this feeling that Dany wasn't going to be left alone so easily.

And I was right!

The previous days after Dany's near-death experience- the one in which she almost choked to death, were a blur, nothing eventful happened. Dany, Lissa and Tony were beginning to get along properly and were getting closer too. We had bible studies together, went to the Church, park and just had a good time with ourselves until,

"Y'all would not believe what just happened!" Lissa screamed, running down the hall to meet Tony and I where we sat in the living room. She stopped for a minute to catch her breath. I wonder how long she had been running.

"What is it Lissa?" Tony asked as I checkmated his king.

"Ha! Checkmate!" I said as I nudged his arm playfully and he shoved me away.

"Guys! Dany's been kidnapped!" She said, looking horrified.

"What? How? When?" I asked, standing up as I tried to make sense of the situation.

"So you know how we all wanted to have a sleepover at your place tonight, right?" She asked.

"Stop beating about the bush!" Tony shouted. He looked frustrated of the whole situation. I was too but I just had to keep it in check.

"We decided to walk together to your house B-but on the way here, a black van pulled over beside us and two men jumped out. They grabbed us both but, good thing I had a pocket knife at the time, I was able to defend myself and i ran but Dany was taken before i could even look back." She said, trying to calm down.

"Oh my God...."Tony looked mad. He ran his fingers through his hair and started pacing back and forth.

"Don't you think we should report this to the police? " I asked. I felt too weak for another stake out.

"There's nothing we can do now. It's dark out and no one would even take us serious. The police already have tons of cases piled up before them. What makes you think they'll even lift a finger when none of their rescue missions have succeeded?" Tony asked. There was sense in what he was saying but I didn't want to think of the situation as hopeless.

Holy Spirit, what do we do? Dany's parents are out of the country and Mum's not home and.....I have no idea what to do.

"Could it be those same guys that wanted to kill her before?" I asked thoughtfully.

"Perhaps. But why would they want to take me too?" Lissa asked.

"I think we should do a stake out tonight-" Tony suggested.

"But we're not even sure if that's where she is. It's too risky-" I countered.

"But that seems like the only option we have now, doesn't it? I thought you said that you saw some kids being held captive in one of the rooms there-" He said.

"Lissa did you see the direction of where the van went?" I asked, ignoring Tony. I just didn't feel a stakeout was what we needed at the moment.

"How'd that help?" Tony asked as I looked at him incredulously.

"It helps Antony. It could be a clue that'll lead us to where she was taken to." I said.

"Guys! Listen to me!" Lissa shouted as Tony drew a jagged breath.

"What?" He asked.

"The van didn't go in the direction of the wierd house."
