When Dany visits...

February 9th,

We left later than we planned and just as we were on the street to our house, I noticed some wierd car outside our house.

Ray and Tony were having small talk in the front seats of Tony's car while Lissa and I sat at the back. She was already dozing off, probably because of the instrumental music that was playing from the car's radio while I just reflected on the bible passage I had read earlier today.

Proverbs 16:3 NIV‬

Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.

"Lord, we may not have any plans at the moment but I commit everything we would ever do into Your able Hands, both now and in future. Amen."

I had just finished my prayer when I looked ahead and saw a van right in front of our house! I don't think Tony and Ray saw it; they were too engrossed in their conversation so I quickly alerted them.

"Tony! Ray! Look!" I said as they stopped talking and fixed their gaze on the van.

"I think you should pull over here. It wouldn't be nice running into them." I said as he obliged. Ray quickly brought out his laptop and checked the security camera footage.

"They're some wierd people in our house and- Danielle! "

"What?! Let me see that! "I said, as Tony leaned in to Ray's side to get a closer look and I hunched over the seats to see what Ray was talking about. And sure enough, Dany sat on a couch with one leg crossed on top of the other and with a gun in her hand. She was clad in black; from head to toe and wore a pair of black high-heeled boots, black leather jacket with black pants- I never thought i'll see Dany like this. Her makeup was heavy and quite intimidating, her hair all straightened and she had black nails!

Scratch that, they looked like claws.

"Wha-"

"Why is she there? Do you think she's waiting for us?" I asked.

"I think so. But why are other people there?" Tony said. Suddenly, a guy walked over to where Dany sat, whispered something into her ear and walked out with the rest of the other guys. They were five in number. Danielle played with her nails for a minute and then she smirked up at the camera, winked at it and walked out. We all gasped in shock.

"How'd she see that? I thought you guys hid it in a tight corner?" I asked.

"We did." Ray said as their van drove off.

After waiting for close to one hour, Tony drove into our driveway and we all got out, looking around to see if we're not being watched. We walked slowly and cautiously into the house. When we had checked everywhere and saw that the 'coast was clear', I sat on a couch, trying to make sense of the whole situation when Ray picked up a sticky note that was stuck on the light switch and read it out loud.

"The game has just began. You can run but you can't hide from me forever. Watch out, I'm coming for you." Ray said as we all sat quietly in thought.

"But why's she so bitter? Why is she doing this?" Lissa asked as I shrugged.

"Wait....do you hear that?" Tony asked.

"What?" I asked, my ears standing straight.

"There's a ticking sound..." he replied as we all stood up and moved around, looking for where the sound was coming from when Ray ran from the kitchen.

"Run!"
