Chapter 6 : The New Coach

Sharon’s POV

I decided to bury the memories of that night deep within me, like locking away a secret in a chest and tossing the key into the ocean. Pretending it never happened seemed like the most rational course of action. There was no point in dwelling on something so fleeting, so… out of character. I would focus on my new role as the team’s agent and leave the past where it belonged.

The next morning, I wore a sports bra and a pair of shorts I hadn’t worn in years. They were a little shorter than I remembered, but they fit well and showcased my long legs in a way that caught even my own eye in the mirror. I turned around to get a better view of the back. Wow.

Tina whistled from across the room when she saw me checking myself out. "You look smoking," she said as she walked toward me and leaned against the bathroom door, looking me over. "The things I would do to you if I were a man."
