Chapter 27 : The Video

Sharon’s POV

I couldn't breathe. The world around me blurred as I stared at my phone screen, my hands trembling uncontrollably. It was as if the floor beneath me had crumbled, and I was falling into an endless abyss. My heart pounded in my chest, each beat echoing with disbelief and dread. The video. It was there, in front of me—so real, so undeniable. I forced myself to watch it, my eyes fixated on the outlandish display of an intimate moment now turned into a twisted spectacle.

How could this have happened? How could someone have recorded that night? Were there hidden cameras in the guest room? My mind raced with questions, each one more alarming than the last. The video showed every detail—the softness of my movements, the vulnerability of my expressions, the unmistakable intimacy of the encounter. My breath hitched as I realized the woman in the video was undeniably me.

But the man... the man wasn't Douglas.
