I stood frozen, my mind racing in a thousand directions. Did Douglas really just kiss me? My skin still tingled from the warmth of his lips on my forehead. The world around me blurred, like a movie I couldn’t focus on, while the weight of what had just happened pressed down on my chest. How did I end up here?
