A Tea Party With OMEGA

When I opened my eyes, the first thing I saw was the blazing hot sun. The yellowish-orange dot in the sky was shining down on me, warming my entire body.

Reflexively covering my eyes, I groaned as I rolled over.

Underneath me, I felt blades of grass poke into me. Looking around, I was currently lying down in a field with exceptionally tall grass. Slowly bringing myself onto my feet, the first thing that I took notice of was the lack of pain in my body.

Hadn't I been on the brink of...…

The second thing I took note of was my extremely fuzzy memory.

For the life of me, I couldn't accurately recall anything that had happened after me and Pride's battle.

I know we fell through the Magic Academy and ended up landing in the center of the school's auditorium.

Everything after that was a blurry mess in which I couldn't recall much of anything.

I was fairly sure that the battle had left both of us in a near-death state, for sure.

As I tried to remember what exactly had happened to me, I slowly stood up and analyzed my surroundings.

I was standing within a massive plain of tall grass that stretched out for miles in front of me.

I couldn't see any structures in front of me, nor trees or animals.

It was just infinite miles of grass. Interspersed with small mounds and hills, but no other lifeforms or structures.

A breeze blew through the grass, causing my trench coat and hair to blow as well.

As I stood in the center of the endless grassy plain, with the sun warming my body and the light breeze blowing through the scene, I couldn't help the sense of nostalgia and feeling of warmth that fell over me.

There was something about this scenic area that was calming to me. Maybe it was the way the wind sent shivers down my spine in a good way. Maybe it was the fact that despite the sun being out in full force, it wasn't blazing hot and kept my body feeling nice and warm.

Or maybe it was the way the tall grass blew in the wind and the massive scope of this plain that made me feel warm and blanketed.

I couldn't pinpoint the exact detail, but this place calmed me. It felt familiar in some way, in the same kind of way that you felt when you returned somewhere you hadn't been in a while.

Everything from the refreshingly sweet aroma of the air, or maybe it was the feeling of the wind against my skin.

Whatever it was, this place felt like somewhere I could spend the rest of my days in. It provided me with such a strong sense of belonging that I began to rack my memories, wondering if I had ever been in a place similar.

After spending a few more seconds staring at the beautiful environment, I finally turned around.

And then I saw the massive castle that was looming behind me.

It was a large structure that could only be described as 'elaborate.'

Its walls rose high into the sky, and it had multiple balconies that oversaw the massive plains around it. Its architecture was creative, folding and crossing walls together in unique ways and even making use of connected pathways over air, similar to Theta's skywalks.

The whole thing was made out of a white and blue marble that shined under the sun's lights.

Similarly to Theta, many sections of the building were adorned with rubies, diamonds, and other jewels.

The castle was almost as large as Theta was. In terms of grandeur of design and structure, then it was on the same level as the Magic Academy.

I stared up at the structure in awe. The wind seemed to blow even stronger, and the sun shone even brighter, as if to accent this already grand scene.

Despite the large castle being the only building for an infinite amount of miles, it didn't feel insanely out of place.

Before I knew it, I had unconsciously begun to put one foot in front of the other and was walking towards the front entrance of the castle.

I was inexplicably drawn towards the palace. I could feel the tug deep inside my chest. Despite the fact that I knew there was a high chance a castle in the middle of nowhere had to be some sort of suspicious place that I should feel wary of, I couldn't force myself to stop walking. I was pulled to this place.

As I began the walk towards the front entrance of the castle, all the while admiring the scenic environment around me, I began to try and piece together what had happened to me and how I had ended up here.

After I and Pride crashed into the auditorium, we had both gotten up dazed, covered in wounds. Pride had begun to ramble about how I wasn't worthy of the witch's love. He accused me of not understanding anything and knowing nothing about the truth. He had made a mysterious comment about ■■■■■, after which he tried to strangle me.

And then the memories came flying through like a landslide, each one right on the back of the other.

During that, a hole was opened up in his chest, and he died. I had been lying on the ground and realized I was dying. That was until the Witch of Vainglory intervened. She asked me if I wanted to live and then did something to me.

Finishing off my recap, I realized that it explained nothing.

I could only come up with two conclusions.

A: I had died, and this was my own personal heaven of sorts. It would explain why it felt so familiar, and I felt so safe here.

Or B: Whatever the witch did to me before I fell unconscious sent me to this place.

If A were the case, I didn't really know how I would feel. I mean, I left everything behind so suddenly. Even now, just thinking about the possibility made me shake my head frantically. I couldn't accept a conclusion like that.

Leaving everything behind before I truly got to experience the life I ran from this whole time? I hadn't even really grasped how I would go about achieving my goal for freedom.

Before I knew it, tears were running down my cheeks, and I pinched myself in order to get my mind out of the rut I was very quickly falling into.

I couldn't be dead. Not yet. And if I were dead, I would do everything in my power to come back. No matter what.

At all costs.

If B was the case, I had to be extremely wary of the massive castle I was now standing in front of.

"Damn!"

I cursed as I realized that I didn't have my wand with me.

I stopped a few feet away from the massive double doors that served as the entrance to the castle. They were tall and painted gold and blue. The door had no handles, so I opted to use the seams between the two to force it open.

As I got real close to the door, I took notice of the words that were carved into it.

My eyes widened.

"Amor, Omnia, Vincit."

I read the words hastily engraved into the doors in small letters aloud.

For a moment, my mind went blank.

Those just so happened to be the same words that were engraved on the door that led to the student council room.

My first immediate thought was

Why were they here?

Of course, the words were just that. Words. They were simply a Latin phrase, and a popular one at that. They could appear anywhere, and I wouldn't have given it any more thought. I shouldn't have given it any more thought besides it being an interesting coincidence.

However, their appearance upon this door rubbed me the wrong way.

One of the reasons was that I had a sneaking suspicion I was within some sort of mental world.

That is to say, this place wasn't a real area I had been transported to, but instead some sort of mental construct I had been mentally transported to.

And the main reason I could confidently say that was because of the reflection on the metal door.

I was staring at me.

However, unlike the me in the last memory I had of being conscious, I wasn't covered in grievous wounds.

And also, in this reflection, I appeared at least a year younger than I actually was. This was right before I had enrolled in Theta. Before everything that life in the academy had brought upon me.

Something about my features in this world just didn't align with the me I knew in the real world. So I concluded that I was in some sort of mental world.

What did being within a mental construct have to do with me being overly paranoid about a few Latin words engraved onto the wall?

I didn't really know. However, a deep feeling in my gut told me there was something more to this than just coincidence. So I decided to believe it.

"Aghgh!"

Grunting, I managed to pry the insanely heavy doors apart, opening up the entrance to the castle.

"So, how am I going to get out of here?" I muttered under my breath as I stepped through the two doors.

And the sight that greeted me was the last thing I was expecting.

The outside of the building resembled that of a palace, so I was expecting the interior to reflect that as well. I was expecting large glass stairways, over-the-top furniture and designs, and all of the things you would expect to find in the royal abode of a king or queen.

What I didn't expect was to be greeted by a massive museum.

The entire first floor of the palace was made of white marble. Large chandeliers hung from the roof and illuminated the massive hall.

Spread out all around the large hall were paintings and exhibits.

Some were small, and some were large. Some took up an entire wall to themselves, while other walls were covered in hundreds of tiny drawings.

Along with the paintings, there were tons of sculptures and glass cases that held weapons and other miscellaneous objects.

I stared at my surroundings in awe for a long time.

Finally, I managed to drag myself to one of the walls and began to analyze it.

It was covered in a myriad of paintings that ranged from random things like trees and flowers to more specific things like certain world monuments and real-life areas.

I moved from wall to wall, analyzing the paintings and sculptures that I saw.

There was a painting of a flock of crows flying into the sunset, accompanied by a detailed model of a crow with purplish-black eyes.

There was no one theme for any part of the massive museum. It was just a conglomerate of many different things at once.

One section was filled with different weapons. A massive greatsword leaned against the wall. The hilt of the blade seemed to be made of some sort of dragon skin.

A massive longbow was leaning against the wall, and something about its design reminded me of the stars.

I could feel mana emanating from all of the weapons along the wall. They were humming with power, as if the weapons themselves were alive.

Along one of the walls, I came across a painting that took up the entire length of the wall.

To just call it a painting felt disingenuous to me.

Every line and detail felt like it had taken years to truly get down.

It was so realistic and so detailed that if you had told me it was a picture, I would believe you.

The scene of the painting was space.

Millions of stars twinkled in the background of the painting.

At the forefront, there was a constellation. Alpha Leonis. It shone brightly.

However, the real staple of the image was the massive supernova explosion taking place in the direct center of Alpha Leonis.

It was a large, massive explosion that took up most of the frame of the painting.

And it was done in exquisite detail. Everything from the flames, the colors of the nebula dust, and everything around the actual explosion was so well done I refused to believe this was something done by hand.

Underneath the painting, there was a plaque.

It read:

Ad Astra et Ultra.

"To the stars and beyond." I muttered to myself.

The combination of the insanely detailed painting and the mysterious title left me awestruck.

If I were a critic, this would easily get a 10 out of 10 stars. But I wasn't. I was trapped inside a mysterious world and admiring paintings in a fake museum.

So really, I was thinking,

What the hell is going on here? And what does any of this mean?

Of course, those questions weren't answered by some sort of mysterious system lurking in the shadows like I had hoped. I sighed.

I continued to move through the museum, admiring paintings, until my eyes fell upon another large-scale painting.

And this one took the breath from my body.

Not in the 'it was so good' way, even though it was really good. Just as good as the supernova painting.

No, the reason it took the breath from my body was because of the actual painting.

It was a large image of a butterfly hairpiece.

What's more, it was the identical one that Kami wore. The painting was an up-close rendering of it, and I could see every detail. Without a doubt, it was the same earpiece.

The painting was accompanied by a small glass case, which held the actual earring. Walking up to it slowly, I leaned in to see that it was indeed the earring I recognized.

The one both Kami and Mira wore in their hair.

My body had started quivering before I even knew it.

All of a sudden, a chill had descended over me.

If I had any doubts that this wasn't the real world, they had been dispelled by this point.

The plaque on the glass case read:

Liberate tutemet ex inferis.

I stood there for who knows how long, on the verge of hyperventilating.

It felt like a cold hand had grabbed my heart and was threatening to squeeze.

Why was this here?

Just what the hell is this place?

Was I actually in hell?

Clink!

Just as I thought those questions, the sound of glass clinking literally scared me into jumping.

I looked around frantically, searching for where the sound came from.

Clink!

My heart nearly stopped as I heard the sound once more.

This time it was followed by the sound of something being poured.

Horrifyingly, I realized that I wasn't alone.

The sound was coming from up the stairs to my left.

Every bone in my body was telling me to run away. I had seen enough horror movies with Kami to know what happens when you think you're invincible and try to investigate.

Still, I had no leads on how to get out of here.

Clink!

The sound of metal on metal contact echoed through the wide hall of the museum like the wails of a ghost.

With each clink, the wails got louder and louder.

I could hear the unrest.

Resolving myself, I walked up the steps.

Clink!

Clink!

Clink!

Each step I took was accompanied by that sound. It became more and more high-pitched until it resembled the screaming of people.

The hairs on the back of my neck rose as I finally arrived at the door.

Taking a deep breath, I pushed it open, and the sun nearly blinded me.

As soon as my eyes adjusted, they widened at what I saw.

The stairway led to a balcony that overlooked the beautiful outside area.

On the balcony, there was a table. It was pink and white. There was an umbrella stuck through the hole in the middle that provided shade.

On the table, there was a tea set for two.

And sitting on one of the two seats at the table was a girl with white hair, a black dress, and vermillion red eyes.

She had a satisfied expression on her face. She licked her lips as she saw me. Her lips curved upward into a smile.

It was the person who introduced themselves as my savior: ■■■■■.

Clink!

She set down her cup of tea, and it's CLINK! echoed for miles and miles

"Welcome to my Castle of Dreams, Raiden."

Her smile grew as she leaned forward.

"Would you like some tea?"

※ ※ ※ ※ ※ ※ ※ ※ ※ ※ ※ ※ ※ ※ ※ ※ ※ ※ ※ ※ ※ ※ ※ ※

I couldn't take my eyes off of her.

It wasn't like this was my first time seeing her. I had seen her multiple times throughout the entirety of the battle in Theta Magic Academy.

However, now was the first time that I could see her up close and really analyze her features with a clear mind.

She was the same height as me. Her hair reached down to her waist. Now that I looked at her, her skin was more on the side of caramel than it was completely pale.

Her vermillion eyes had black pupils in the center that resembled the lenses of a camera.

She stared at me from across the small tea table. In front of us was a small tea set for two.

"You're surprisingly silent. I'm sure you have a lot of questions you want answered, no"?

Her voice was the same silky smooth and sweet voice that I was used to. Her words snapped me out of my thoughts, and I looked her in the eyes.

Like, really looked her in the eyes.

She giggled.

I looked away, feeling my face heat up.

Was now really the time to be distracted?

Internally chiding myself, I composed my facial expression and turned back towards her.

"Raiden, you can get comfortable. In a sense, this place was created for you. Or, by you. If that makes any sense." She picked up the kettle and slowly began pouring tea for the both of us.

I watched her movements closely. Despite everything that had happened between us, I was still wary of her.

After all, she was a foreign soul that had forcibly been transplanted into my body as a part of some strategy being executed by the witch and her lackeys.

Even though she did save me on multiple occasions, being the one to bring me out of my slump before Thor killed me, I still couldn't find it in me to completely trust her.

The only reason I was sitting at this table with her was because I felt like I owed her a debt for saving me. Not because I was ready to get all buddy-buddy.

"Who are you?"

I finally decided on the first question I would ask her.

She set down the kettle before picking up her cup of tea and sipping on it.

She then looked back at me and pointed into the cup. "Won't you have some?"

I glanced at the cup with suspicion.

"Is it drugged?" I tried to throw out a joke when I asked that question; however, my heart swelled and my own body shivered as I remembered what happened to me after my last encounter with something drugged.

■■■■■'s facial expression transformed into one of pity and sadness.

She reached out a hand to caress my cheek.

As soon as I felt her fingers brush against my skin, I flinched back a bit.

"I'm so sorry that you had to go through something like that. I know a sorry doesn't mean anything when confronted with the truth of what you faced; however, I still felt the need to express that."

I turned away from her gaze. The entire situation with Eve was still deeply engraved in my mind. Especially now that I saw it for what it really was. Now that my own mind had finally stopped hiding the whole thing from me, I couldn't help but feel disgusted, scared, and helpless when I was touched.

Even when I wasn't being touched.

"Just answer the question." I muttered.

■■■■■ nodded. "I think it's time that I stopped hiding my identity from you." She took a deep breath.

"A■■■■."

The first time she said it, I only caught the first letter.

She tilted her head in confusion and looked up. "Shouldn't we be safe from its gaze within this dimension?"

She began to mutter about things that I couldn't even dream of deciphering at the moment.

Instead, I just listened closely, committing everything that she said to memory.

We're being...watched?

"A■i ■l."

The same thing happened the next time she spoke. I caught a little bit more of her name this time.

Realization dawned on her at that moment. "It's still incomplete. That makes sense."

She then turned back to me and finally managed to get her name out.

"Ariel."

"Ariel..." I repeated.

"What? Do you hate it?" She immediately asked with a hurt expression.

"N-no! It's a beautiful name!" I quickly rushed to correct that misunderstanding, only to see that she was giggling once more, placing a hand over her mouth.

"So you like to flatter women?"

"....!" Unable to really respond, I just face-palmed as I realized she was just teasing me.

"Relax, Raiden."

I was about to ask another question when Ariel shook her head and gestured to the cup in front of me.

"Before I answer your next question, you should at least taste the tea. It took so long for me to prepare it." She put on a pleading expression, giving me the greatest pair of puppy dog eyes I had ever seen.

Still, I wasn't ready to just drink this unknown substance. Picking up the teacup, I stared at it apprehensively.

Just before I put it to my mouth, I processed a 'clear brain' magic spell.

It was a spell developed by a woman in order to ward against being drugged or getting overly drunk. I was thankful for it now, but at the same time I felt a bit disgusted to know that this even warranted creation in the first place.

After activating that, I took a sip from the teacup.

It tasted exactly like Kami's tea. Everything about it reminded me of Kami's tea.

It would have been perfect. If I didn't hate tea.

"It's good." I finally said, after waiting a few moments to make sure I wouldn't experience any aftereffects.

Ariel gave me a sinister smile.

"How perverted. You find my body fluids, good?"

In an instant I had spit the tea out and was coughing.

"What did you just say?" I asked frantically.

Ariel began laughing once more. "Just kidding! I was just trying to imitate a scene from one of your favorite novels. You literally had the exact same reaction!"

Realizing the scene she was referencing, I hugged in anger at the fact I had been played once more.

"How do you feel about yourself?"

"I'm sorry! I really am! However, I just couldn't resist the urge to tease you. You were so tense after all."

I stared at her for a little bit longer, trying to remain mad; however, after a few seconds, I found myself blushing and looking away once more.

Lock in Raiden!

"So, what did you mean when you said this place was created by me?"

Ariel went into deep contemplation for a bit.

"■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■"■

She gave me a lengthy explanation. I'm sure it was super in-depth and detailed.

However, I couldn't understand any of it.

I just stared at her like a dumbass.

"So it was censored?" She asked.

I nodded.

"Makes sense." She thought for a little bit more before saying, "I can't really explain the truth behind it without it being censored; however, this place was indeed created by you. It's always been with you, ever since you were born."

"But I have no knowledge of its existence, like, at all?" I replied, confused.

Ariel nodded. "That was because it was being hidden from you. Essentially, you weren't supposed to find out about this place until a little longer down the road, which is why it's currently so empty."

I sat in silence for a moment, contemplating what she had said.

So, this place is a mental area that I was responsible for creating. The reason I didn't know about it was because something or someone was actively trying to hide it from me.

"I guess that explains the butterfly hairpiece. But what about the rest of the things in that museum? I didn't recognize any of those things." I posed my next question after a long moment of silent contemplation.

"That's because this place doesn't exactly follow the laws or rules of time. It's a bit confusing, but items and scenes from the future, present, and past are all gathered here. Essentially, all versions of Raiden that have and haven't yet existed affect this place."

It was more than just a bit confusing, but I got the general gist of what she was saying.

"And what's hiding this place from me? What is the 'it' that you speak of censoring your words?"

Ariel smiled. "Asking all the right questions. As expected of you."

"Like I said before, this place was hidden from you by an entity that oversees your fate. According to that entity, you didn't need to know about this place yet, and you don't need to hear my words yet, because they'd alter your fate too much." She took another sip of tea. "Right before you went unconscious, do you remember the Witch calling you "Light of Heaven?"

I nodded.

"Well, that has some meaning. You are very important, Raiden. And some very powerful people want to make sure that you head down the path that they want and make the decision that they want. And in order to do that, they hide and censor information that could radically change your decisions."

I was absentmindedly listening to her words.

Internally, I was reeling.

Light of Heaven?

More important than I actually thought.

Powerful people literally shifting my fate?

All of those thoughts and their implications flashed through my brain in an instant. They crashed through my mind and turned it into a mental battlefield.

If everything she was saying was right, then all of my actions are being watched and manipulated?

If that's the case, am I really even my own person?

Do I even

"Raiden."

I was snapped out of my spiraling thoughts.

"Trust me when I say this." Ariel leaned forward.

"You are still you. All of your actions and interactions that made you into the person you are right now are still valid. You are still valid."

"B-but how can you say that when you yourself admitted that my fate was being controlled by beings beyond my own comprehension!"

My entire body was trembling under the one thought that everything I was didn't matter. That I was literally just a name on a piece of paper for beings in a higher dimension than me to play with.

Like an author would their very own characters.

That thought scared me more than anything else.

It would mean I was fake. Even the self-validation I had gained after seeing the truth of everything would be stripped away from me.

And suddenly, her hands were on my cheeks. Our faces were inches away from each other. I tried to pull away, but she held on tightly.

"Because I know who you are. And I've seen those beings. Trust me, they don't have anywhere near as much control over you as you think."

Even with her words, my thoughts did not calm down.

Then, she pressed our foreheads together.

After a few moments, I felt my breathing calm down, and my thoughts slowly began to return to normal.

I looked at her in a bit of shock. "Wha-"

"Didn't I say that I'm your savior? Didn't I promise I would be there to take on any mental burden you couldn't handle? Didn't I say that even if your mind would shatter, I would always be there to help you piece it together once more?"

I stared at her for a bit longer before looking down in a bit of shame. "Sorry. Thank you—

"Don't apologize. And look me in the eyes." Her words were soft-spoken but commanding.

I followed her orders.

She smiled. "Good boy. Remember everything you struggled through to create this new you? Don't let it fall apart now."

I nodded.

"Now, I'm sure you still have a few more questions." Be quick; I don't know how much longer I can keep you here in this dimension before they intervene."

"Are they like the Witch of Vainglory?"

Ariel nodded. "They are beings above 'human.' Just one glance would be enough to drive you insane."

"How many of them are there?" I kept the questions going. Something inside my chest told me that I didn't have long left in this place.

"An uncountable amount."

That sent a shiver down my spine. It felt like with every mention of them, more and more gazes were drawn upon me.

"Why did the witch want to transport you inside my body?" I asked the question I wanted an answer to the most.

"Well, this one's simple. Do you remember what happened right before you passed out?"

I nodded. "The Witch appeared right before me. She asked if I wanted to live. When I said yes, she kissed me and said the contract had been sealed."

Ariel nodded. "Well, in that moment, you actually did die for a moment. You were then brought back, as per the contract she created. In return, she took your real heart and replaced it with a fake one."

My eyes widened, but I didn't completely lose it over that revelation. I was slowly starting to become desensitized.

"Well, that was done for two reasons. One, by implanting my soul into your body and then killing you, she could also kill me at the same time. She did this because I didn't have a real body to be killed when I was within Greed's vault. So she used you as a medium to achieve that. The second was so that she could create a contract with fair terms. She wanted your heart, and so in return, she gave you your life back."

Unlike last time, my mind didn't begin to shatter under the weight of her words. However, they still came as a shock to me.

At the same time as these revelations, I felt the slightest tremor in the ground. So faint I thought it was just me being paranoid.

"Why would she want to kill you?" I asked.

"Something else that will be censored. But essentially, I am an... enemy of hers."

I was starting to get seriously angry at how much I was missing out on because of the censoring. It made it so that the answers Ariel was providing me with were just generating more questions, if anything.

"And how did you survive?"

"I hid in here. That's why I wasn't present during your whole interaction with Pride. I stayed in here and waited until you had been revived before merging with your soul once more."

I pretended to understand what she was talking about and then asked my next question.

"Why did the Witch of Vainglory want my heart?" I took another sip of tea as I asked this. It oddly calmed my mind.

"As I said. You're very important. Think of your heart as a key of some sort. The witch stole that key and is now going to use it to unleash disaster upon the world."

I froze, and my eyes widened.

"Disaster?" I muttered.

Ariel nodded. "Unfathomable disasters. Things that could put the entire world at stake. I can't tell you specifically, but I'm sure you've seen some of them inside of the museum already."

The supernova painting flashed through my mind again. So did the bloodied hairpiece that belonged to Kami.

My heart literally dropped to my ass.

"And how can I stop them?" I asked frantically.

Ariel looked at me with a serious expression. "You need to take your heart back."

"How do I do that?" I asked with a bit of frustration.

Above us, the sky began to shatter. Something seemed to be peeking its way through.

The grass began to die.

The castle began to crumble.

"We don't have time for the specifics. But make a contract with me, and I will guide you." She reached out her hand.

Things were deteriorating quicker than I could have expected.

Pieces of the sky began to rain down like glass, and I could feel the presence of something sinister approaching.

An indescribable mass slowly began to poke through the holes.

It would put even some of the most horrifying eldritch beings to shame.

Slowly, I accepted her hand.

A light began to glow around us.

She smiled at me.

"Have faith, Light of Heaven. I, OMEGA, will guide you."

Even though I didn't know what was going on, the exact words I was supposed to say suddenly appeared in my mind.

"I will have faith, OMEGA. I, Light of Heaven, will follow your lead."

The light exploded into a climax at the exact same time that the sky completely shattered and the shriek of a monster descended upon the world.

Before I could get a good look at everything, I blacked out once again.

Volume 2: Castle of Dreams. END.
