The past was horrible but the present and the future looked bright. I could not forget or forgive what happened before, but I did not let myself be swallowed up by past suffering. 

But on this day, everything became clear.

Revenge and Redemption: I Shall Wear Jenn's Smile

For the week following my conversation with Woobin, I did all I could to be a loner in the class and sulk.

This was something that I had always been good at so it wasn't a problem at all. I guess it was one talent I had.

There were some practical issues though, mostly the fact that I was living together with Danbi. While we did not exactly publicize that we were living under the same roof now, I was sure there would be people who saw us walking to school together before everything went pear shaped.

So I had to act assuming that this fact was out in the open but frame it in a way that would fit my new role as a loner.
