Where is my demon?

"Bastard!" I cursed sliding out of my little bed.

I knew Old Wei would soon notice my absence. At most, I could lie and say that I had spilled water on my clothes and had to change them. He wouldn't press too much, right?

"Argh! I'm such a mess," I grumbled glancing down at the wet patch on the white pants I was wearing u see my black robes. I indeed had to change my clothes and maybe wipe off all that cum drenching my thighs.

Glancing back at the messed up bed, I noticed a small white pill bottle. It was the same as the one Yuan Yao had given me last time, containing the blood pill to help me recover from the blood loss.

"At least you're a little sensible."

After I had dressed up and brushed my hair back in place, I resumed back to work, acting as if I had not just been jerked off less than an hour prior.

*Smack*

Someone dropped a book on my table.

I glanced up, only to meet a pair of golden eyes. His matching golden hair flowed down his chest as usual just like the look of indifference he always wore. Even since meeting him, never had I seen him smile even once.

Realizing I had been staring too much at his handsome face, I quickly jumped out of my seat and bowed. "How may I help you-"

"Read that!" Was all he said before turning and walking away.

'Wow! That was...great.'

I sat back down and looked at the book Old Wei had instructed me to read.

"Qi foundation," I read the title out loud.

Moved the past week, I had been familiarizing myself with how this world functioned. This led me to discover the various levels that all practitioners are ranked in.

The first level was called Qi Foundation. This is where an ordinary human began concentrating and solidifying his qi, allowing him to manipulate and achieve things like telekinesis and other skills.

Once the body had been made strong enough to handle its qi, the person would progress to the second stage; Core Formation.

Once all that qi was absorbed, it would need somewhere to be stored. And this is where a core of Dantian was useful.

My predecessor had reached core formation but was made waste by his nemesis, Liang Yi.

A Dantian was very useful especially when fighting an opponent. Without a place to store the qi being absorbed, then one would be exhausted and defeated before the fight reached even quarterway.

"He wants me to...practice?" I wondered looking at his back as he walked out of the library.

For over a minute, I stared at the warm sunlight outside, making me miss the taste of freedom.

Old Wei had instructed me not to leave the library without telling me why. He spoke lesser and lesser since that day, leaving me to believe that he was either an introvert or he deeply disliked me.

And yes, I had tried leaving the library but the strong barrier at the doors couldn't let me take even half a step outside. I was stuck in here; working, eating, and sleeping from the same building.

Five days passed by in the blink of an eye.

Now I had stayed in the sexy for two weeks, making it feel better than the first day.

The outer disciples had ceased flocking the library. And from what I had heard, they were preparing for the end-of-year examination that would determine if they would qualify to become inner disciples.

While the handymen were also given a chance, Old Wei did not as much as breathe a word to me, and I had no courage to ask him for fear of being slapped three doors down.

That man was damn powerful. Maybe even more powerful than Yuan Yao.

Now that I was thinking about that perverted demon, I hadn't seen him since that day he tasted my... urgh! That memory was simply a horror to me.

And since I couldn't leave the library to go find him, I could only count the days and await his reappearance. This time, I had a favor to ask from him.

'"Lin Xuan?"' Old Wei called through his telepathy.

'"Yes, Old Wei."' I jerked off of my seat answering him.

'"Come up."' A short and simple instruction, yet it made my soul tremble.

'"Yes."' I replied in my mind before he cut off the link between our minds.

Like lightning, I dashed for the stairs and ran up the floors until I got to the sixth floor.

This and the other two floors above were restricted only to Old Wei and the sect's elders. Most of the time, those powerful elders never passed through the first floor, they could teleport directly into any of the higher floors without the need to register at my little desk.

Old Wei was in charge of taking care of those powerful profiles while I sorted out the outer and inner disciples.

As for the true disciples, there was another female librarian on the fourth floor who was taking care of them.

I walked into the sixth floor and instantly felt as if someone was trying to push my whole body to the floor.

I had read about this. It was called gravitational pressure and was used to suppress those weaker than the one using it.

"O-Old Wei." I saluted from the entrance, knowing very well that there was no way I could take even three steps further without my chest being crushed.
