Damien's POV

As her words echoed into my head, my wolf went crazy. A gush of blood pumped through my loins and it felt like I couldn't think straight anymore.

But I squeezed my eyes shot for a second and tried to stay in control. My eyes left her for a second and I checked the corridors once more.

"How did you even get here? Where is Baron?" I whispered, still searching the corridors.

It made no sense that she would be out of her room this late without Baron. Though technically I knew that Baron also had to get some sleep and if it wasn't for my restlessness I should have been asleep too. So what was she doing here?

"Please..." She moaned once more, sending a wave of heat through me.

Her body collapsed into my arms and I saw the goosebumps around her skin. I couldn't tell if it was from the cold air or her heat— but whatever the case was, I couldn't leave her here.
