Playing at being the Prince

Over the next few days, Zian Yi purged the army by killing anyone he suspected of being loyal to the princes. He did not kill them out in in the open. He instead picked them off one at a time while making sure not to leave any evidence behind. He made everything disappear like the wind their bodies were burned by corpse flame and their belongings were also not spared.

He then proclaimed them as deserters that had betrayed the empire. Some people suspected what had happened but there was nothing they could do seeing as even talking badly about Zian Yi and his followers could lead to a disappearance.

After killing the prince and purging the army, Zian Yi named himself general and took control of the army.
