 Zian Yi understood that by creating the Phylactery to house his emotions and essence, he had just created a weakness that could be his own undoing. If he chose the wrong vessel and it was destroyed, he would be in deep trouble. This was why he had trouble choosing a vessel; he could feel time running out. If the power that had come from the heavens ran out, he would be stuck with all these emotions, unable to function as a true ghoul. His mind could even collapse from the weight of it all. 


Zian Yi comprehended this, which was why he created the Phylactery. Now was not the time to panic. It was the time to be decisive. Given the situation, Zian Yi flew into the sky and shot towards the capital. He flew above the battle still raging on, and no one dared to get in his way. His speed was so incredible that he shattered the sound barrier and more. The fact that he was flying shocked everyone present.
