The Upir Twins’ loss (for real now) II

Lady Kaktos had quietly flown over to Lady Kaliyah and hammer-slammed her on the head.

And from the hammer-fist slam, it turned into a gentle caress; “Are you awake now?” she asked Lady Kaliyah with a delicate smile.

“A… Ah! I am very sorry!” Lady Kaliyah apologized, apparently returning to her senses, “I became carried away. Please, disregard what I just said!”

But actually, that wasn’t the first time Lady Kaliyah glitches, like that; Whenever matters pertaining to blood - human blood, specifically – were mentioned, she enters a sort of murderous daze which only the twins are capable of intervening in.

“Sigh! I hate it when she gets like that,” Gideon-san moaned, sheer relief painting his under-aged face.

[Quit it, Kira!]

“It truly does send chills down the spine,” Lady Eira added, wiping the sweat formed on her face, “Lord Khaos, Lady Kaktos, I thank you for meeting Kaliyah before me. Fighting her then would have been suicidal for me.”
