Two beautiful women, Lady Eira and Lady Kaktos, were sparring. Though Lady Kaktos’s graceful movements made it clear she was holding back.
“Hihihi,” Lady Kaktos tittered, “even at 100 years, you still have so much to learn. You should understand what I mean without me explaining in depth, by now.”
She gently patted Lady Eira’s head, causing her to blush.
“I…I hope to grow smarter, to be of better use to you!” Lady Eira exclaimed with determination.
Lady Kaktos’s smile softened. “Hihihi. You’re already plenty smart, my dear. You just need to open your eyes to see what normally cannot be perceived.”
“Eh? What does THAT mean? Eeeek!!” Lady Eira yelped.
Stepping behind Lady Eira, Lady Kaktos suddenly embraced her warmly.
“Goodness, Lady Kaktos,” Lady Eira huffed, “I’ve told you to stop these sudden assaults.”
“Sudden assaults?!” Lady Kaktos gasped mockingly. “I’m deeply wounded by your words.”
She gently gathered Lady Eira’s hair and sniffed it. “Eira.”
