The V-faction

“Marvelous!” Khaos proclaimed, his voice ringing with satisfaction. “That will be a splendid touch to the revival of Drabo.”

“And I want to see some beautiful faces,” Kaktos added, crossing her legs as she leaned back against the grand throne. “I see many of those in Kaliyah’s faction—I’m so envious.”

Kaliyah smiled knowingly. “At once, my Lords.” She bowed with elegant precision. “I shall prepare some of my faction’s officials to represent the rest.”

“Naturally.” Eira chuckled softly, her translucent green eyes gleaming under the castle’s torchlight. “We can’t very well introduce all one thousand or so undead.”

“Y-You are correct!” Khaos stammered, clearing his throat.

“Yes, of course! Th-There’s no way we expected to meet everyone tonight!” Kaktos quickly added, her wry smile barely masking the realization that the introductions won’t involve everyone.

The three generals exchanged glances, the corners of their lips twitching in exasperation.
