It’s Over, Banshee Queen

Eira tilted her head slightly. "I’m not here to justify it. But please, don’t behave as if you’re a righteous cleanser, Martha. Had our roles been reversed, wouldn’t you have done the same?"

Silence fell between her and Martha.

Martha’s smile was since gone. And in its place, the deepest frown she had shown that day.

She felt that Eira had not acknowledged the suffering of Hanako and her team at all.

Martha's speed blurred the space between them.

Eira loudly screamed—her voice ripping through the air like a jagged blade.

An invisible force surged toward Martha, warping the space around it.

But Martha was quicker.

She veered aside, just as the sonic onslaught crashed into the ground behind her.
