STUPID CHUN

General Han Xing's smirk widened, but his eyes remained hard as ice. He was unmoved by Chun’s accusation and turned a deaf ear to it. "You said that you heard Amelia left? Weren't you here when Amelia left this afternoon? You even declared that you are Mr. Yang's assistant and insisted on opening Amelia's luggage to check if she stole from Kendrick's mansion?" His voice dripped with mockery, his words slicing through Chun's pretenses.

Chun's face turned red with anger and embarrassment. "No! Brother Kendrick, let me explain!" Her voice wavered as she hurriedly tried to defend herself, her eyes darting around in panic, seeking an escape from the damning accusations.

Kendrick's face was a mask of stoic anger, his jaw clenched tightly. The room seemed to hold its breath, waiting for his reaction. Finally, he turned to his guards, his voice like ice. "Drag this woman out!" he commanded, the authority in his tone leaving no room for argument.
