The Arrival

Dante woke up from his sleep as the alarm next to his bed rang, getting ready to prepare for teaching. In the another world where Dante currently resides, the ecosystem had been previously devastated by the arrival of a meteor from outer space, leading to a prolonged war between government-appointed special forces and rebels with a religious basis centered around the minerals brought by the meteor. The minerals from the meteor had spread and evolved rapidly, consume all carbon-based materials to grow rapidly. Dante quickly left his apartment, dressed neatly, and headed to the school to teach. The day passed by as usual.

"I'm home..." Dante said as he entered his apartment, turning on the lights. Dante placed his backpack on the chair and promptly sat on the bed.

"Such a strange dream... yet it felt so real..." Dante pondered, "Is there really such a world? Why am I so curious about it?" he continued to muse.

Dante quickly sat cross-legged in a lotus position, closed his eyes, and began to concentrate. He initiated Dimensional Projection once again, seeking the location of the world in that dimension. Dante sensed something else also observing him, far from the galaxy and still originating from the same dimension. It felt icy cold and ravenous, devouring anything in its path. Dante abruptly awakened from Dimensional Projection and hurried to the closet, grabbing something—a device with a monitor and three tubes.

"Time to go, huh? This adventure is bound to be quite..." Dante trailed off with a sigh. "Well, I suppose it'll be a lot of fun," he continued. With that, Dante promptly went to sleep.

Dante once again entered the realm of dreams and encountered the Emperor of Mankind, who was engaged in a debate with one of the Chaos Gods. Dante quickly approached and launched a powerful magical strike at the blue Chaos God, causing it to recoil while laughing.

"Tzeentch seems to be planning something," said the Emperor. "It's in Tzeentch's nature to scheme and toy with people's minds," the Emperor continued with a sigh.

"So... does that squid-like creature have a name?" Dante asked, curious. Dante continued to observe Tzeentch as it retreated, laughing.

"Every Daemon and Chaos God has a name, but for the original name of the Chaos Gods, that remains the question," said the Emperor.

Dante fell silent, sensing the Emperor's power increasing significantly.

"Ah, I will depart to the dimension where your world resides, so please," Dante said confidently.

"It seems you're interested in the world where I come from, aren't you?" the Emperor asked Dante, his glowing eyes filled with curiosity.

"I'm actually intrigued by the golden-clad warriors mentioned by the squid-like creature the night before, particularly their weaponry and combat techniques," Dante replied, his tone flat.

"Hahahahahahaha, I can arrange all of that. I can see you're interested in becoming an Adeptus Custodes. I sense that you possess many combat techniques and war tactics that are somewhat unusual," said the Emperor of Mankind with delight. "It reminds me of one of my companions named Malcador, though Malcador The Sigillite had his own agenda for the foundation of the Imperium of Mankind," the Emperor continued.

"In that case, I'll get ready. I've already obtained the location of the dimension where you reside, and it seems like it's going to be quite exciting," Dante said, slowly fading away from the dream world.

Before he knew it, the conversation had reached the morning. Dante quickly packed all his belongings while preparing what he needed for his journey to that dimension. He retrieved the device he had prepared the night before.

"It's been a while since I've used the Dimensional Walker Device. It seems like today's adventure is going to be very... very... brutal," Dante said as he adjusted the coordinates of the dimension he was about to visit. He then placed the device on the floor, and instantly, a portal opened.

Dante quickly grabbed the Dimensional Walker Device from the floor and entered the portal. As he passed through the portal, Dante arrived in a vast desert area.

"Um... is this place correct?" Dante asked, confused, then checked the Dimensional Walker Device. "Hmm... the coordinates are correct, but... wwoooaaa!" Dante immediately dodged a shot.

"HERETIC!" screamed a woman wearing full-body black armor, her short white hair adorned with ornaments resembling the flag of Joan of Arc on her armor. "HERETICS LIKE YOU MUST BE ERADICATED IMMEDIATELY!" she shouted.

"Whoa... that's a pretty serious accusation..." Dante said, looking towards the woman. "I've just arrived in this dimension because of an invitation from someone. I don't want any trouble, and I'm in a hurry," Dante said, trying to calm the woman down.

"Invitation from someone?" the woman asked. "Describe the characteristics of that person," she demanded.

"A man in golden armor, wearing a crown adorned with leaf ornaments, his left arm armed with a large claw, his right hand wielding a large flaming sword, his eyes shining with golden light," Dante said, still looking at the woman.

The woman immediately knelt down as if in prayer. Dante, seeing her praying, turned around and tried to leave, but a rifle was pointed directly behind Dante's head.

"You might deceive Sister Anastasya, but not me," said another woman behind Dante, a woman with slightly longer hair wearing black armor with the same pattern as the previous woman.

"Listen... I'm not lying. I even asked the Emperor to prepare a little reception. I think they're called... Adeptus Custodes??" Dante said, sounding somewhat unsure.

"The Legio Custodes wouldn't leave the Imperial Palace unless ordered by the God Emperor himself," the woman stated. "A heretic like you might easily deceive new members of the Sister of Battle like Sister Anastasya, but a Palatine like me isn't easily fooled," she continued.

"Palatine Briea, stand down! He is a guest of the Emperor of Mankind," said a man riding a hovering motorcycle and wielding a beam spear, wearing golden armor. "The Emperor of Mankind did indeed invite this person to the Imperial Sanctum," the man continued.

"Custodes? My apologies, my lord, I didn't know this person was a guest of the God Emperor," said Palatine Briea as she lowered her weapon. "I've already told her..." Dante said with a relieved tone, "Silence, you HERETIC!" Palatine Briea snapped, "He's not a heretic either... why would the Emperor invite a heretic to the Imperial Sanctum," the Custodes replied, sighing.

"Are you truly Dante? the one who met the Emperor in the Warp and aided him?" the Custodian asked Dante, "Yes... that's me," Dante replied. "I am Shield-Captain Alexander, tasked by the Emperor of Mankind through the Emperor's Emissary to fetch you. I apologize for this confusion. Please, board the Jet Bike, and I will take you directly to the Imperial Sanctum," Alexander said with a friendly tone.

Alexander mounted his Jet Bike, adorned with a Gryphon ornament, and Dante sat on the back. Alexander immediately piloted the Jet Bike westward.

"You must have many questions, and the first is likely about them," said Shield Captain Alexander. Dante simply nodded. "They are the Sisters of Battle, the female warriors of the Ecclesiarchy. From their logos and banners, I believe they are from the Order of the Argent Shroud," the Shield Captain explained.

"Ecclesiarchy???" Dante asked, bewildered. "All will be explained once we arrive at the Imperial Sanctum, including meeting with Lord Commander Roboute Guilliman," said the Shield Captain.
