Several months had passed since Task Force 413 had thwarted the brutal invasion led by Kragzog Ironjaw, the infamous Ork Warboss. Although the great war had subsided, signs of a new threat were emerging. Beyond the reach of Imperial radar, something dark and mysterious began to stir among the stars.

Chapter Master Kyoshiro, the revered leader of the Delta Blade Chapter, seized this time to fortify his ranks. He gathered numerous young aspirants chosen from across the sector to be trained as new recruits for the Delta Blade Chapter. As was customary, they were met with brutal and uncompromising training.
