The Thunderhawk carrying Dante, Kesh, and Allarach finally touched down at the staging point on Vacoris II. From the ship's windows, the battlefield sprawled below them in utter chaos. Points of light flickered from the Warp, and flashes of combat filled the sky, creating a scene both horrific and magnificent. 


Upon landing, Dante leaped from the craft with the speed and precision unique to a Custodes. As his boots hit the ground, he immediately began assessing the situation around him. The first thing to capture his attention was the presence of an artifact that seemed eerily similar to the one found on Victorium, yet pulsated with far greater power.
