Tiya's College
After hearing Tiya's words, Ojal quickly interjected, "Ok, I also need to tell you something." Grabbing Tiya's hand, Ojal started leading her away, but they suddenly ran into Avyansh. Seeing him, Ojal flared up, "Haven't you had enough of ruining Koka's reputation? You and that bitch of yours—what a perfect pair you two make!"
Grinding his teeth, Avyansh retorted, "You bloody bitch, how dare you?"
Sensing that the situation could escalate, Tiya tried calming Ojal down, "Let it go, yaar. I need to head home, this is irritating, let's go Oz." At that moment, Avyansh noticed the beautiful girl standing next to Ojal. In his heated argument with Ojal, he hadn't even realized she was there. But when he heard Tiya's voice, he recognized her—it was Tiya.
He sneered, "Are you trying to impress me with this makeover? Well, just so you know, Sahana is the best. You're so boring, and she's amazing."
Avyansh's misunderstanding was swiftly cleared with a powerful kick. He flew a few feet and landed hard. It was Tiya who had kicked him. Ojal was as shocked as she was delighted by this scene. Tiya wanted to beat him even more but stopped herself after some thought.
Ojal added with a smirk, giving Avyansh a quick kick, "You look good on the ground like that." She immediately pulled out her phone and took pictures of Avyansh in his humiliated state.
Tiya shouted at him, "My luck isn't bad enough that I'd try to impress you!" Then she walked away, with Ojal following behind. Avyansh was left in shock; this didn't seem like the Tiya he once knew. Grinding his teeth in anger, he muttered to himself, "You'll pay for this. Just wait and see what I do to you now."
At the hostel, in Ojal's room
Ojal, ecstatic, exclaimed, "Wow! Girl, that was an amazing kick! By the way, where have you been for the past two weeks?"
After locking the door, Tiya replied, "I'll tell you."
Ojal was eager to know the reason behind Tiya's new attitude. As Tiya explained everything, Ojal's eyes widened in astonishment, and suddenly, she began jumping on the bed in excitement. Seeing this, Tiya said, "Oz, are you mad?"
Ojal, still thrilled, replied, "Bestie, you are so lucky!"
Tiya, confused, said, "Lucky? They saved me, damn it."
Ojal responded, "So what? At least he's better than that sleazebag Avyansh Khanna! And I know him well; he's a really good guy."
Shocked, Tiya asked, "Wait, what? You know him well?"
Realizing she had blurted too much, Ojal quickly covered, "I've just heard a lot about him. My dad knows him too. He's harsh on those who try to harm him, but to his family, he's just a regular guy who loves them a lot. And as you said, he saved your life, and even married you! So I don't think you'll need to repay him a crore. If it was just about a debt, he wouldn't have married you. So relax, he's not a monster. He's a good person."
In her mind, Ojal thought, "What if I tell her now that I'm related to him? Oh my god, Bhai would bury me alive if he found out I'm studying at his college without telling him."
Ojal was scared that Ashwatth might discover her secret, but she was also overjoyed that her brother had married her best friend.
Tiya, contemplating, said, "You're right. Sir and his family have been treating me well. He saved both my life and my dignity, and he's even made me strong and confident. But there's just one thing I fear—his anger. I've heard he can be very temperamental."
Ojal reassured her, "Everyone gets angry sometimes, but he only does when someone really ticks him off. I know you'd never do anything to upset him. So, Mrs. Ashwatth Aryan, how does it feel being the wife of the Weapons King? You have the most powerful man in the city at your beck and call now—you can make him do anything you want!"
Surprised by Ojal's antics, Tiya said, "I don't want to make him do anything. What are you even saying?"
Teasing her, Ojal asked, "Tell me about your first night—how was it?"
Blushing furiously, Tiya's thoughts drifted to Ashwatth. Her cheeks turned red with embarrassment.
"Just shut up, nothing happened. He's just my boss. You're being ridiculous."
Ojal, still teasing, said, "Really? Then why are you blushing? Come on, tell me—what does that blush mean?"
Tiya glanced at her watch and said, "It's getting late. You know, sir is returning from Russia today, and I have to be home by 8 p.m. as per house rules."
Ojal smirked, "Oh please, just admit you're dying to see him. Besides, he's pretty handsome, your sir."
"Stop talking nonsense," Tiya said, trying to hide her smile.
"Okay, okay, go on then. What would I do without you?" Ojal teased.
Hugging her, Tiya said, "You're the best. You're the only person I can truly call mine. I used to think my dad loved me, but even he..." Her eyes welled up with tears.
Ojal stroked her head and comforted her, "No need to cry. Now you have a rich, loving, and caring hubby. Just focus on your studies and your handsome husband. By the way, ever since your wedding, you've had this glow on your face, and your attitude has completely changed."
Tiya replied, "Just shut up!"
Suddenly, Tiya's phone rang. She pulled it out of her backpack and saw that Ashwatth was calling. She had saved his contact under the name "Sir."
"Oh my God, Oz, Sir is calling me! What should I do? He must have found out about the mess I made in his room. He's going to eat me alive at dinner tonight!"
Ojal asked, "What did you do?"
Tiya explained everything and asked, "What should I do? Tell me, please!" She was visibly panicking.
Ojal calmly said, "We'll deal with it when it comes. You said Dadaji likes you, right? If your sir tries anything, just complain to him. But first, answer the phone."
Tiya was too terrified to pick up the call, so Ojal took the phone from her and answered it. "What have you done? What should I say?" Tiya asked with her eyes, too scared to speak. Ojal calmed her down, "Just talk to him, it'll be fine."
Tiya gave Ojal an angry look but nervously put the phone to her ear and said, "Good morning, Sir."
Ojal whispered, "Good morning? Are you crazy? It's evening!"
Quickly correcting herself, Tiya stammered, "Good evening, Sir."
Ashwatth replied, "What's with the 'Good morning' and 'Good evening'? Why did it take you so long to answer my call? And who is this other girl?"
Tiya, flustered, answered, "Sir, she's my friend."
"I'm outside your college. Come out, I'm here to pick you up," Ashwatth said.
Upon hearing this, Tiya nearly dropped her phone but quickly caught it. She nervously asked, "Why did you come, sir? I can come home on my own."
Ashwatth's tone grew stern, "Will you come out, or should I come inside the college?"
Panicked, Tiya quickly said, "No, sir, I'm coming, right now." And she hung up the phone.
"What happened?" Ojal asked.
"He's here to pick me up from college! If anyone sees me with him, I can't even imagine what'll happen."
Ojal laughed at her naivety, "Silly girl, it's 6 p.m. Everyone's gone home."
Tiya checked her broken watch, then looked at her phone and said, "Alright, I'm going. Just pray I survive this."
Ojal teased, "Think of it this way—he came to pick you up himself. Who knows what might happen tonight…"
Before she could finish, Tiya shot back, "Stop it! I'm leaving!" and ran out of the hostel, heading straight for the college entrance.
At the entrance, Ashwatth's luxurious black SUV was parked. He lowered the back window and looked at her.
"Do you need an invitation? Get in," he said.
Flustered, Tiya hurried towards the car but stumbled over a stone and nearly fell. Ashwatth saw this, and though Selvan, the driver, began to get out, Ashwatth gestured for him to stay put.
Tiya winced in pain but, remembering her fear of being punished, quickly got up, brushed off her pain, and approached the car. Ashwatth opened the back door for her.
As soon as Tiya got into the car, she was shocked. The interior of Ashwatth's SUV was filled with devices she had only seen in Hollywood movies. He closed the door, and Tiya curled up by the window while Selvan started the car. Ashwatth's eyes fell on her knees, which were scraped from the fall, and her hands were also slightly bruised. Without saying a word, Ashwatth grabbed her arm and gently pulled her into his lap.
The car was moving toward its destination, and Tiya sat in Ashwatth's lap, completely stunned. She had thought he would be furious and punish her, but to her surprise, he was calm—something she had not anticipated. Ashwatth placed one hand on her belly, and the moment he touched her, she shivered.
In a soft voice, Ashwatth said, "You should've been more careful. If you had fallen into a pothole, your head would've definitely split open."
