Battle of Exhaustion – Confrontation with the Snow Wolf

Under the cloudy sky, a harsh northern wind swept across the snow-covered peak, enveloping Lin Tian in a biting cold.

Still reeling from his fierce battle with the spirit beast. His body was exhausted, his breaths heavy and labored.

While he had emerged victorious from the fight, the victory hadn't come easily, leaving him utterly drained.

His bones ached, as if every part of his body was protesting the fatigue.

With great difficulty, he trudged forward through the deep snow, leaving behind a trail of footprints in the white ground.

He had no other choice but to press on.

There was no turning back, especially after realizing that there were greater forces lurking in this unforgiving land.

But with every step, the sense of danger grew stronger.

In his past life as an emperor, he had learned to trust his instincts, and those instincts were now screaming that something was watching him.

This time, it wasn't just an ordinary beast. He could feel that faint presence deep within his soul.

Something far more powerful was lurking in the shadows, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

Suddenly, he stopped. He sensed movement behind him.

He couldn't see it clearly due to the thick darkness shrouding the area, but his breath grew more tense.

Slowly, he turned around, and there, he saw something moving lightly between the snowy trees.

Two glowing eyes pierced through the snow, watching his every move.

"A Snow Wolf..." he muttered to himself in a low voice.

He knew this type of creature well. Spirit beasts that lived in these regions were rare, and the Snow Wolf was one of the most dangerous.

Known for its speed and strength, it had the ability to blend perfectly into the snow, making it a terrifying foe.

The wolf began to move slowly toward Lin Tian, advancing cautiously as if testing him.

The beast was large and imposing, standing taller than an average man, with thick, white fur that merged seamlessly with the snow.

Its massive muscles rippled visibly beneath its fur, and its body pulsed with both power and agility.

Lin Tian tightened his grip on the stone staff he held. Though exhausted, his mind refused to give in.

He knew that this battle would be incredibly tough, especially in his current state.

His worn-out body warned him that this fight could be his last if he didn't act with caution.

The wolf crept closer, then suddenly lunged toward Lin Tian with astonishing speed.

Lin Tian moved quickly despite his fatigue, raising his staff to block the attack.

But the wolf's strength was overwhelming.

The staff collided with the wolf's jaws, forcing Lin Tian back several steps through the deep snow.

He barely managed to regain his balance and stand his ground as the wolf retreated a few steps, its sharp eyes fixed on him.

"This beast is stronger than I expected… I won't last long at this rate," Lin Tian muttered to himself, his breath coming in gasps.

The wolf charged again, this time from a different angle, targeting Lin Tian's left side.

The move was swift and clever, but he had anticipated it.

With precision, he twisted his body in a narrow turn, causing the wolf's attack to miss by a narrow margin.

But even though he had dodged the blow, his body was screaming in exhaustion.

Every movement drained his remaining strength, and he knew his energy was fading fast.

Then, all of a sudden, the wolf began to circle him, moving in rapid circles, testing him.

The wolf could sense Lin Tian's exhaustion and was trying to exploit this weakness.

As the wolf moved, the snow swirled into the air, making visibility even more difficult.

It was clear the beast was preparing for a final strike.

Lin Tian took a deep breath, trying to steady his nerves and focus.

He knew that any mistake at this point could be fatal.

He had to plan carefully and wait for the right moment to strike back.

Suddenly, the wolf stopped circling. It paused in its tracks, lowering its hind legs, preparing to leap.

In that moment, Lin Tian knew the next attack would be the wolf's finishing blow. He either had to fend off the assault or face death.

As the wolf lunged, Lin Tian let out a fierce shout, raising his staff with unexpected force despite his condition.

The staff slammed into the wolf's jaws, but the wolf was incredibly strong.

The impact pushed Lin Tian back once again, but he didn't fall.

Instead, he held his ground, tightening his grip on the staff even more.

The blow had hit the wolf in a sensitive spot, causing it to stagger and retreat.

But the wolf didn't fall. It rose again, its eyes blazing with fury.

Blood dripped from its mouth, but it wasn't deterred.

Instead, it charged at Lin Tian once more, this time with greater aggression.

At that moment, Lin Tian knew he had to make a decision.

He didn't have many options left, and he realized that the time had come to use the last of his remaining strength.

Gathering all his energy, he delivered a powerful strike with his staff, aiming directly at the wolf's head.

The strike was devastating. The staff smashed into the wolf's skull, causing it to crack.

The sound of bones snapping echoed in the air, filling the surroundings with the horrifying noise of shattering bones.

The wolf collapsed onto the ground, twitching for a few moments before finally going still.

Victory had been achieved, but at a great cost. Lin Tian could barely stand.

His exhausted body was on the verge of collapse, and his breath came in rapid, irregular gasps.
