Drifting Rock Terrain

'Okay?' Anon repeated inwardly, 'Am I okay?'

His clenched fists relaxed as he turned to Seth and met with the latter's gaze.

"Yes, I'm fine." Anon said with a smile, though, it was clearly fake.

"In that scenario, I could've easily died. To keep my life is a blessing that I am grateful for." Anon said seriously.

Seth's words had the complete opposite effect of what he desired them to have.

Thanks to them, Anon was able to perceive the mind-numbing frustration that was clouding his thinking, and was therefore able to suppress it.

'Allowing my emotions to cloud my judgement, even in extreme scenarios, is not something I can accept.' He gritted his teeth and thought internally.

Glancing at Seth, he mused internally, 'Thankfully, he couldn't help himself, and attempted to gloat in my face, in-turn, assisting me in regaining mental clarity.'

Sigh...

'What use is there in weeping over spilled milk?' Anon smirked coldly.
