CHAINS OF DESIRE

When Sarah finds herself in a tight spot, she must make a very tough decision to spare her father from the wrath of Sir Andrian De Luca, a Mafia Lord. This is after an incident where her father, Richard, Steals money from the mafia lord, he's caught immediately and is locked up by the Mafia to be tortured and might even get killed if no action is taken by his family to save his life. With Andrian this can involve payment of huge ransoms or sometimes something of huge fortune must be traded for freedom to be granted to his victims.

Sarah knows that her father tried to obtain money to cover her mother's hospital bills. She signs a contract with Andrian knowing that she has to do everything in her power to save him. In exchange for her father's release, she agrees to be Andrian's wife for a year, which she does by signing the contract.



Sarah's bravery and tenacity mesmerizes Andrian, and he begins to feel a connection with her. He's enthralled and adores her loyalty because he has never seen a woman willing to sacrifice herself to free her family.

Sarah makes covert deals with players in the shadowy mafia world while the story progresses, looking into Andrian's possible involvement in her sister's murder some years before. Many disputes and misunderstandings arise both inside and outside of Andrian's empire as a result of his unspoken determination to keep Sarah safe at all costs in order to win her love.
