Chapter 570: The Six-Tails

While Seimei was deep in thought, Minato Namikaze turned his gaze toward him. In that brief exchange, Seimei immediately understood the meaning behind Minato's look—Stop them!

However, just as Seimei was about to make his move, the Mist Jonin clutching his abdomen suddenly raised both hands and rapidly performed several hand signs.

Seeing this, Seimei instantly heightened his vigilance, though a trace of confusion crept into his heart.

"What is he trying to do?"

Before his question could be answered, a piercing roar, sharp enough to tear through eardrums, suddenly erupted. The sound carried not only malice but also the unbridled joy of newfound freedom.

"Is that... the Six-Tails?!"

Seimei's heart sank as he quickly looked toward the Six-Tails. He saw a densely packed sealing formula emerge on its body, only to disappear moments later.

In an instant, its tails increased from three to four.

The four Konoha ninja from the sealing team turned pale. One of them immediately extended a hand, launching a chakra chain that wrapped around one of the creature's tails.

This caused the escalating aura of the Six-Tails to pause momentarily.

But what followed was an even more furious roar.

As the roar echoed, the space near its four tails shifted, and in the blink of an eye, two more tails sprouted.

At that moment, all six of its tails were fully manifested. Its size and chakra presence surged dramatically, growing exponentially in mere breaths.

The four Konoha ninja beneath it looked like mere insects. Despite five chakra chains binding its massive body, the scene resembled ants attempting to restrain an elephant.

Roar!

The Six-Tails lashed out with its two unrestrained tails, sweeping directly toward two members of the sealing team.

"Ah!"

Two short, sharp screams followed as the unfortunate duo were instantly reduced to nothing more than a smear of blood.

While the Six-Tails wasn't known for raw strength, its sheer size was enough to make even a casual strike overwhelming for any human opponent.

With the death of the two Konoha ninja, the chakra chains they controlled vanished, leaving two more tails of the Six-Tails unbound.

The beast let out an ecstatic roar, swinging all four of its free tails toward the remaining two sealing team members.

Its speed was overwhelming, giving the two no time to react.

Just as it seemed they were about to share their comrades' fate, a figure suddenly appeared. With golden hair and a calm demeanor, there was no mistaking him—it was Minato Namikaze.

In the blink of an eye, Minato moved to their side, grabbed them both, and activated the Flying Thunder God Technique, vanishing just as the Six-Tails' attack landed.

Boom!

The four tails slammed into the ground, causing the earth to quake violently. Dirt and stones were sent flying in all directions, like shrapnel from a massive explosion.

With its restraints now entirely gone, the Six-Tails' aura surged to an even more terrifying level.

Though this series of events seemed lengthy, it all happened in a matter of seconds.

Seimei now understood why the Mist Jonin had performed those hand seals. Judging by the outcome, it was clearly to release the seal binding the Six-Tails.

Now that the beast was completely free, it was time for them to retreat.

That thought had barely crossed Seimei's mind when, in the same moment Minato saved the two sealing team members, the enemy trio, including Ao and Homura, simultaneously threw several smoke bombs to the ground.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

With muffled explosions, thick smoke engulfed their figures.

If Seimei acted with full force, he could undoubtedly stop them.

The smoke couldn't obscure his Byakugan, and even without it, a quick Wind Release technique could disperse the smoke in an instant.

At that point, intercepting them would be no problem.

Yet, Seimei chose not to act.

It wasn't out of compassion or a desire to let them go. Rather, a more pressing target demanded his attention, and it wasn't worth wasting time on them.

After all, they were three Jonin, two of whom were injured. Taking them down would not be quick or easy.

Meanwhile, Minato had already engaged the Six-Tails.

Seimei took a step forward, intending to assist.

But then, his brow furrowed, and he executed a Body Flicker Technique, appearing in front of the gravely injured Hidefu.

Looking at the ground beneath his feet, he sneered coldly.

"Hmph! Letting you go was mercy enough, and you still dare to try and steal my spoils? Foolish!"

With that, he stomped on the ground, pouring Earth Release chakra into it to petrify the area completely.

"Mmph~"

A faint grunt could be heard.

The next moment, the presence sneaking underground halted, then quickly retreated, vanishing entirely.

Seimei didn't need to guess—it was undoubtedly one of the three who had fled earlier, attempting to retrieve Hidefu.

Unfortunately, Seimei wasn't about to allow it.

After confirming their retreat, Seimei wasted no time. He performed hand signs and used the Chakra Absorption Technique

Hidefu seemed to realize what was happening and struggled to resist, but his earlier Rasengan injury left him with no strength.

Seimei grabbed him, and within seconds, drained his chakra, spiritual energy, and physical energy completely.

Given his severe injuries, Hidefu didn't provide much chakra—barely ten thousand points.

Seimei shook his head in mild disappointment, tossing the lifeless body aside before activating Wind Release: Wind Wings and taking to the skies.

By now, Minato and the Six-Tails were locked in battle.

The Six-Tails repeatedly lashed out with its tails, but Minato's swift movements ensured it couldn't land a single hit.

This only enraged the beast further, as it swung its arms wildly and roared incessantly.

Seeing this, Seimei wasted no time. He performed hand signs mid-air and unleashed a powerful jutsu—Fire Release: Pure Flame Technique!

Against a massive creature like the Six-Tails, holding back would be foolish. Seimei poured nearly 500 chakra points into the attack.

Flames erupted on the Six-Tails' chest, spreading rapidly. In mere moments, a third of its body was engulfed in fire.

For a slug-like creature, fire was a natural counter. Its pained roars grew louder and more desperate.

Minato seized the opportunity, ready to press the attack.

But then, a surge of immense chakra erupted from the Six-Tails, radiating a suffocating pressure that blanketed everyone present.

Minato, closest to the beast, was forced to retreat several steps. Even Seimei, floating at a distance, had to back away by tens of meters.

The sealing team members, now watching from a tree hundreds of meters away, shuddered under the oppressive aura.

This violent and malevolent chakra was far beyond what any ordinary ninja could withstand.

Yet neither Minato nor Seimei faltered.

Minato remained calm, his fighting spirit unwavering despite the retreat.

Seimei, on the other hand, seemed even more audacious. Instead of fear, his gaze toward the Six-Tails was filled with greed, as if he were looking at a priceless treasure. A glint of avarice flashed in his eyes.
