From Wanda's words, it was clear that she understood Stark wasn't the one she should seek revenge against.
But that didn't mean she could bring herself to be friendly toward him. After all, it wasn't as if Stark bore no responsibility at all—at the very least, he had been negligent in managing his company.
Stark understood what she meant, so he immediately said, **"I get what you're saying, which is why I shut down Stark Industries' weapons division a long time ago.
After you came looking for me, I realized just how serious the problem was.
I've since redirected resources to people in war zones and done everything I can to help protect the Earth...
Of course, I'm not saying what I did was some great act of kindness.
It was simply the right thing to do."**
As soon as he finished speaking, Wanda replied coldly, "That has nothing to do with me."
Her words silenced Stark.
But perhaps because he knew Wanda's attitude toward him wouldn't change overnight, he didn't take it to heart.
Instead, he turned to Polaris and asked, "Do you need anything else? I can have someone arrange it for you."
Ever since Wanda and Quicksilver had moved into the villa, Stark had been sending people to deliver supplies regularly.
Money, daily necessities, luxury goods—new deliveries arrived every two days.
Frankly, just the amount of money he had sent them was already more than they could ever spend.
Thinking of this, Polaris quickly said, "We don't need anything else, Mr. Stark. We already have more money than we can use..."
Still, Stark seemed a little concerned. He reminded her, "If there's anything you're missing, just let me know. Or tell the people I send over—they'll take care of it."
At that moment, Wanda spoke up.
**"You don't need to do any of this. I have no interest in whatever you give me. If you really want to make it up to us, go and kill Hydra.
If it weren't for them, Sokovia wouldn't have been torn apart by war, and Quicksilver and I wouldn't have lost our home!"**
Her voice was laced with anger.
After seeing Hydra's true motives exposed and realizing she had been manipulated, Wanda had wanted nothing more than to destroy them herself.
But Polaris had stopped her.
Polaris insisted they wait for Luo Bai to return and hear his opinion before taking any action.
Although Wanda was still unfamiliar with Luo Bai—after all, he rarely showed up—she had developed a strong bond with Polaris over time.
So, in the end, she chose to listen.
But now that both Luo Bai and Stark were back, she figured she might as well ask Stark to take revenge for them.
After all, Stark must hate Hydra just as much as she did.
And she was right—he did.
"I was already planning to go to Sokovia and take down Hydra's base. Even if you hadn't asked, I was going to do it anyway," Stark said through gritted teeth, his hatred evident.
He had already made up his mind.
But having just gone through so much, he wanted to take a moment to breathe and collect his thoughts before launching into action.
Yet another issue weighed on his mind.
The Avengers were, for all intents and purposes, disbanded.
And while he was strong, protecting Earth alone was an impossible task.
At the moment, Luo Bai was the only person he could fully trust.
But as the Sorcerer Supreme, Luo Bai's battles were usually against threats beyond Earth. That meant the planet still needed an organization dedicated to its defense.
Thinking about this, Stark sighed and admitted, "The Avengers are gone now. I don't know if I can protect Earth on my own."
He directed the statement at Luo Bai.
But Luo Bai had already foreseen this outcome and had his own plan in mind.
**"There are plenty of organizations that can protect Earth. The Avengers were just one of them.
Why don't we create a new organization ourselves?"** Luo Bai suggested.
The moment he said it, Stark's eyes lit up.
**"You're seriously considering that? That's great! If you're the one founding it, count me in. I'll be the first to join.
Just tell me where to sign up—I'll do whatever you need."**
To be honest, Stark had been waiting for this moment.
He had never been particularly eager to join the Avengers in the first place—he had only done so because he didn't like Nick Fury but recognized the necessity of such an organization.
At the time, S.H.I.E.L.D. was the only group actively working to protect Earth, and since their goals aligned, he had reluctantly joined.
But if Luo Bai was the one leading the new organization, Stark had no reservations at all.
He would join without hesitation.
He didn't care about compensation.
Hell, he'd even be willing to fund the whole thing himself.
However, Luo Bai hesitated for a moment before saying, "I have thought about creating an organization to protect Earth before, but managing such a group seems like a hassle."
"I'll handle the management. You just need to give the orders," Stark responded without hesitation.
Hearing this, Luo Bai agreed. "That works for me."
"Do you have any ideas for the team members? It can't just be the two of us, right?" Stark asked.
"What do you think of Lorna?" Luo Bai suggested.
Polaris, who had been standing to the side, simply watching the conversation unfold, never expected to be brought up so suddenly.
Clearly caught off guard, she pointed at herself in confusion. "Me?!"
"Of course. Don't forget, you have superpowers too," Luo Bai said with a smile.
Polaris hadn't forgotten that.
But she never imagined Luo Bai would want her to join.
She had assumed she was only meant to be a housekeeper.
Realizing this, she quickly nodded in agreement. "I didn't forget, I just thought Master Luo Bai kept me around to be a housekeeper."
"You have the ability to control magnetic fields. It would be a waste for you to just manage a household. From now on, you and Tony will work together to protect Earth. But remember, your emotions can be unstable at times, so you should listen to Tony's judgment when it comes to making decisions," Luo Bai reminded her.
"No problem! I'll make sure to control my emotions!" Polaris promised eagerly.
Stark was naturally thrilled to have Polaris on board.
Come on—she could control magnetic fields!
That power was on another level.
Still, with just two members, the organization seemed a little too small.
Thinking about it, Stark quickly asked, "Polaris is definitely strong, but don't you think two people aren't enough?"
"Actually, I think Peter Parker would be a good addition," Luo Bai suggested.
"You mean that high school kid we just met?" Stark considered for a moment before asking, "Isn't he a little too young?"
"True, but you can train him," Luo Bai replied.
"I was already planning on doing that! I've been keeping an eye on him for a while now!" Stark said immediately.
"You could also try convincing Dr. Banner to join," Luo Bai added. "The only issue is managing when the Hulk appears. And as for Asgard… Odin has already entrusted both of his sons to me, so I think Thor should be on board as well."
"......"
Good grief, this guy just casually negotiates with Odin.
Alright, alright, fine.
"For now, these are the only names that come to mind. We'll see how things go later," Luo Bai concluded.
Stark nodded before asking, "Have you thought of a name for this organization?"
Now that they had a preliminary lineup, they needed a name.
To be honest, Luo Bai wasn't great at naming things.
So, he decided to just borrow one.
"It's just a name, don't overthink it. How about we call it the Justice League?" Luo Bai said.
"Alright," Stark agreed without hesitation. "So, what's the plan now? Do we go after Hydra?"
"You and Lorna can handle that. I won't be going—I have something else to take care of," Luo Bai said.
Dormammu was making plans to invade Earth, and he needed to deal with that.
Besides…
He was feeling a bit hungry.
