"You lied to me. You framed Olivia!" His voice thundered in the room, making Juliet flinch.
Owen didn't care one bit about Olivia to be furious that she was framed because to him, she was a witch that deserved every evil. But his anger was on the fact that she had gotten the upper hand in this matter.
That was more than a slap to his face.
"Owen, I—I was scared! I was confused!" Juliet grasped for an explanation, anything to soften the storm brewing in his eyes. "I didn't mean for things to get this far!"
Owen let out a sharp laugh. "You didn't mean for things to get this far?" He took a step back from the bed as if disgusted. "How about you strategically sneaking into my life and trying to ruin it?"
Juliet sniffled, reaching for his hand. "Owen, please… I swear, I love you! This started as a plan, but my feelings for you are real! And I never meant to ruin your life"
Owen jerked his hand away. "Don't touch me."
Juliet's heart dropped.
