Standing at the fork where three identical paths diverged, Amtea, the Grand Archpriest Emil, and the others huddled tensely behind Owen, too wary to make any sudden moves.

This ancient castle was beyond strange. From the eerily lifelike paintings to the endless looping corridors, it all gave them an unsettling sense of diving into an unknown mystery.

Out of the corners of their eyes, they could even see tentacles stretching from shadowed corners, writhing and twisting in a way that left shadows darker than the night.

Standing too close to those shadows, Amtea suddenly shivered as if struck by a cold mist, instinctively pulling back from the tentacles.

The Grand Archpriest Emil frowned and snapped his fingers, casting a Holy Light spell.

Points of light, like fireflies, illuminated the air around him, radiating a brilliant glow.
