The next day, Elora was woken up by her personal alarm or she would sleep through the day—she had things to do today.
Yoru stood beside her, grateful. She was lucky to be dead; otherwise, Elora's swats would have brutally ended her.
No wonder the other maid died without a fight—she was taken out by surprise.
Elora's eyelids were heavy, tempting her to go back to sleep, but the knock on the door woke her fully.
"Yawn…come in." She sat slowly in the bed and her door was pushed open, showing her four maids.
"Good morning Your Majesty." They bowed respectfully but at ease in her presence.
Elora nodded and got down from the bed. "I want you to pack a bundle of trousers and shirts. And I'll be wearing that as well." Elora ordered, walking towards the bathroom.
They split up in two, one handling the queen's bath and preparations while the others opened the queen's wardrobe to pack her a bag.
