"Please get straight to the point. Has the Lord ever embezzled tax and used her power to oppress the people?" Yoru asked in a sharp tone already running out of patience.

Her words silenced the gossiping ghosts, and as they turned to her, Yoru sighed in relief—she had their attention.

''Oh, you could have asked that in the first place, I wasted my time giving you the juicy gossip for nothing.'' The ghost answered with a disapproving tone; the others nodded along like they knew what they were talking about.

Yoru's ghost form flickered—not from fear, but sheer frustration. She wanted so badly to strangle the man to death, but remembering she was talking to a ghost, her anger deflated like a popped balloon.

"As the forgiving and generous man I am, I'll tell you. This lord is only known for her laziness and her knack for shifting work onto others. Aside from that, she's a decent person—never embezzled or mistreated the commoners.
